OPPO Find N2

The OPPO Find N2 Series has been launched in China with two different designs. OPPO Find N2 is a foldable device like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and OPPO Find N2 Flip is a flipable device like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. As compared to Samsung’s smartphones, both smartphones by OPPO are full of innovation.

• It features a 7.1-inch 120Hz E6 Amoled Internal Display with 1920 X 1792 Pixel Resolution, 8.4:9 Aspect Ratio, ADFR 2.0 Technology, and 1550 nits Peak Brightness.
• This Fold smartphone also has a 5.54-inch FHD+ 120Hz E6 External Display with 2120 X 1080 Pixel Resolution, 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate,17.7:9 aspect ratio, 1350 nits Peak Brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus Protection.
• It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC with Adreno 730 GPU.
• It has a 32MP (OV32C, 1/3.14-inch Sensor Size) Front Camera and a 50MP (IMX890, 1/1.56-inch Sensor Size, OIS) Main + 48MP (IMX581, 115°, 1/2-inch Sensor Size) Ultra-wide-angle + 32MP (IMX709, 1/2.74-inch Sensor Size, 2x Optical) Telephoto Lens in the Rear Camera.
• This device has a MariSillion X NPU chip for image and video processing and it has Hasselblad tuning too.
• The Front Camera can record up to 1080p at 30fps and the Rear Camera can record up to 4K at 60fps.

• It has up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, which can be expanded up to 8GB via Virtual RAM option, and it has up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 Storage.
• The OPPO Find N2 is packed with a 4520mAh Battery which supports 67W Fast Charging.
• This Fold device comes on ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
• It has X-Axis Linear Motor, Dual Stereo Speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC.
• As part of its security features, the device has a Side Mounted Fingerprint Scanner and Face ID.
• The Find N2 is 7.4mm Thick when it is unfold, 14.6mm Thick when it is folded, and the Glass Version weight 237 grams & Leather Version weight 233 grams.
• The supports OPPO Pen (4096-level pressure sensitivity, remote control camera, 11-hour battery life).
• The Hinge is an ultra-light solid Seiko quasi-vertical hinge, high-strength composite carbon fiber slant plate, aerospace-grade MIM alloy material, 36% lighter and 21% narrower in width than the previous generation, and supports multi-angle hovering.

Price and Color Options

• The device has an 12GB+256GB variant which costs CNY 7999 approximately INR 95,050, and it has 16GB+512GB variant which costs CNY 8999 approximately INR 1,06,930.
• This Fold device is available in Cloud White, Pine Green, and Plain Black (Leather) Color Options.

Conclusion

In China, both the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip are available at an incredibly low price. Compared to Samsung, these devices have done something different and innovative. I think this is an excellent move by OPPO. Now let’s see if these smartphones will launch in India or globally. But if OPPO plans to launch, the launch will take place in Q1 2023.
