Now the new Leaked information from tipster Revegnus has provided a glimpse into Samsung’s plans for camera upgrades on its Ultra models, stretching from the upcoming Galaxy S24 to the anticipated S26 Ultra in 2026.

Galaxy S24 Ultra (2024):

• The periscope camera is set to feature a significant improvement, transitioning to a 50MP sensor with 0.7µm pixels, a notable upgrade from the current 10MP with 1.12µm pixels on the Galaxy S23.
• Users will have the option to choose between larger pixels with binning for enhanced quality or opt for more zoom capability.
• The main camera specifications remain unchanged for this model.

Galaxy S25 Ultra (2025):

• This model promises substantial upgrades, with a new lens for the main camera and an ultra-wide module transitioning to a 50MP sensor, up from the 12MP on previous Ultra models.
• Notably, the periscope camera is expected to gain a variable focal length, a feature currently offered only by Sony. This enhancement aims to improve the quality of zoom shots by delaying in-sensor zoom until the end of optical zoom.

Galaxy S26 Ultra (2026):

• The main camera sensor receives an upgrade, growing from the current 1/1.3” 0.6µm to 1.1” 0.7µm, maintaining a resolution of 200MP.
• The leaker suggests potential upgrades for the Galaxy S25 and S25+ but notes they will be less extensive than those for the Ultra models.
