Fire-Boltt Hulk: The Budget Smart Watch with good features.

On the 18^th of August, 2022 Fire-Boltt launched its latest offering in the Smartwatch segment, the Fire-Boltt Hulk. It is a very feature-rich smartwatch which comes at a very aggressive price point. It has been listed on Flipkart and soon it will be available in the Indian markets. let’s see how it performs against the latest offering from other competitors within the same price segment.

Fire-Boltt Hulk – Design and colour

• The dial is made up of Zinc alloy which is very strong and sturdy, it is rectangular in shape with smoothened-out corners.
• It has a width of about 36.6mm, a height of about 26mm and a thickness of about 12.1mm as a result it will not feel bulky on your wrist.
• It weighs about 36.8 grams and overall it is a very lightweight smartwatch which you can use on a day-to-day basis without any pain in your wrist.
• The strap buckle is made up of Silicone material which is fair enough for the price at which it is offered.
• It comes in four different solid colour variants, which are Black, Blue, Grey and Pink (which has a sort of golden finish).

• It gets a 1.78 – inch, HD, Full touch AMOLED display with a resolution of about 368 X 448 which looks crisp and clear at any viewing angle.
• It has about 326 pixels per inch, as a result, there the pixels are not visible with your naked eyes.
• It features a very bright display and has about 550 nits of peak brightness which will be vibrant enough even when you are under harsh sunlight.
• Since it is an AMOLED display, so it features an Always-on display but if you are in this mode, then battery life will take a serious hit.
• The screen has better real estate with very minimal bezels.

Fire-Boltt Hulk – Battery

• It has a Lithium Ion battery whose capacity was not revealed.
• Fire-Boltt claims that it can give a battery backup of 7 days with a talk time of about 72 hours, but these are just claims and the real battery performance is yet to be tested.
• Fire-Boltt claims that it will take about 120 minutes to get fully charged with the provided charger in the box.

• It has an in-built speaker and microphone, which you can use during Bluetooth calling and to trigger the AI-powered Voice Assistant.

Fire-Boltt Hulk – Fitness and wellness features

• It comes equipped with a Pedometer which is used to measure the distance travelled by foot, a Heart Rate Monitor with an HRS3600 sensor, a SpO2 (Blood Oxygen Monitor), Sleep Monitoring System which tracks your sleep quality, and Sedentary reminders, Breathe monitor etc. It also comes equipped with a Period Tracker.
• It contains 100 Sport Modes and along with that comes an Accelerometer, Barometer etc.

Fire-Boltt Hulk – Other Features

• It is IP67 Water Resistant, so it can handle your sweat and a little splash of water with ease. But don’t expect it to be waterproof, and in our opinion going to swim with this smartwatch will be devastating.
• It has a built-in calculator for ease of work.
• It has Bluetooth version 5.0 which ensures superior connectivity with your smartphone even when you are at a distance.
• It has a presence of Bluetooth calling feature with, a built-in dialer.
• You can reject and accept calls as well as save a contact directly from your smartwatch.
• You can remotely control your camera using this smartwatch during group photos.
• It fails to display the date and time which can be a bummer for some users but has the presence of an alarm clock which is a good feature.

Fire-Boltt Hulk – Launch and Price

• It is listed on Flipkart and we believe that it will soon be available for consumers in India.
• Apart from the four different colour options, it will be offered in only one variant.
• It is expected to come at a price point below the 2000 Rs mark.
