OPPO A98 recently appeared in China Telecom’s product collection along with all of its specifications and pictures. It looks that the item will be sold during China’s forthcoming Singles’ Day shopping holiday on November 11. It’s also possible that the OPPO A98 will arrive in time for the Singles’ Day deal. It did so because it featured in the TENAA certification platform’s database with all of its key specifications and photos.

OPPO A98 Specs

Display & Processor

• It will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz Curved Amoled Display with 2412×1080 Pixel Resolution, 1 Billion Colors, 394 ppi density.
• It is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC with Adreno 619 GPU.

Camera, RAM, & Storage

• The device will have a 16MP Front Camera and for the Rear, it is confirmed to have a 108MP OIS + 2MP Macro camera.
• The Rear Camera can record up to 4k and The Front Camera can record up to 1080p at 30fps.
• It will have up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and it will have up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 Storage on its top variant.

Battery, Charging, & Speaker

• It is confirmed to have a (4690) battery which will support 67W Fast Charging.
• The device is going to have 3.5mm jack.

Security & Software

• It has an In-Display Fingerprint (Optical) Scanner and Face ID for Security,
• In terms of Software, the OPPO A98 is expected to come on Color OS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box.

Connectivity & Other Features

• For Connectivity options like 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C Port for Charging and Data Transfer.
• In terms of dimensions, the smartphone will be around 7.7mm Thick and 171 grams in weight.

OPPO A98 Price and Color Options

• The smartphone is expected to launch in the Rs. 24,999 to 29,999 price range.
• The device is rumoured to be launched on 2 Different Color Options. The options are Black and Blue.

Opinion

It seems like another typical oppo phone with good design and decent camera. If Oppo makes it offline only then it will get sales for sure and other than I surely have a flagship level software experience and excellent looks to work in its favour. If this launch under 25000 than it will sure give a quite tough to other brands.
