POCO has recently launched the POCO X5 5G in India, the successor to the POCO X4 Pro. The phone comes with some amazing features.

It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz Amoled Display with 2400 x 1080 Pixel resolution, 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate, 1200nits peak Brightness, 100% DCI P3, Low Blue Light Certified, and Gorilla Glass Protection. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor, making it a strong competitor in the mid-range smartphone market.

One of the most impressive aspects of the POCO X5 5G is its camera system. The rear camera consists of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118° field of view, and a 2MP macro lens. The front-facing camera is a 13MP shooter, which can also capture video at 1080p at 30fps. The camera system is good, but it falls short of the POCO X4 Pro, which has a better camera system.

The POCO X5 5G comes with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 Storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The device also has a 5000mAh battery, which can be charged using the 33W fast charging system. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face ID for security.

• The POCO X5 5G will be available for purchase starting March 21st, 2023, at 12:00 PM on Flipkart.
• The device is priced at INR 18,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and INR 20,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
• Customers can avail of a discount of INR 2,000 via ICICI Bank cards and INR 2,000 off on product exchange.

Verdict

Overall, the POCO X5 5G is a solid mid-range smartphone with some impressive features. However, it faces stiff competition from other devices in the same price range, including the POCO X4 Pro. The device’s camera system and charging system could be better, but the POCO X5 5G still offers great value for money, especially after the card discount has been applied.
