Redmi A1
The Redmi India Twitter account posted a tweet with the hashtag #DiwaliWithMi, revealing some of it’s new launches in this year. The Redmi A1 smartphone was teased in the same tweet.
Redmi appears to have created yet another budget device aimed at all-around users. However, it differs from previous Mi A-series models. Similarly, the phone has appeared on a number of certification lists.
HIGHLIGHTS:

- Company officially teased the phone will launch during Mi Diwali Sale.
- It is expected to be an entry-level phone with Helio A22 chipset.
Expected Specifications
The Redmi A1 will be equipped with a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, according to a recent Geekbench listing. It will have 3GB of RAM and an operating system based on Android 12. Further, there will emm5.1 storage upto 64GB present.
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 2.4GHz connectivity will be available on the device. According to the FCC listing, the smartphone’s dimensions will be 164.67mm (L) x 76.56mm (W). We also expect this phone will have an IPS panel with HD+ resolution.
Eventually, Redmi A1 will support fingerprint scanner & face unlock for security as well. There will be a V-shaped notch display with slightly thick bezels & polycarbonate body. Further, it will carry 3.5mm port & dedicated card slot too.
Launch Date & Price
Some speculation also rised that Redmi A1 could also get rebranded to Poco C50 for some markets. The expected price of this phone will be under ₹10,000. Further, it could be launch with Redmi 11 Prime 5G in India.
