On the 10th of August, 2022, Samsung launched the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 along with some other goodies such as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, 5 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro but meanwhile, we are getting some leaked specs and rumours of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A74 5G. We speculate that it might come with very high-end features and specifications along with very high-end pricing.
Samsung Galaxy A74 5G – Design and colour
Samsung Galaxy A74 5G may follow more of a boxier design language; the edges may be smoothened out and will feel smooth to tough without sharp edges. It may have a glass back and the frame will be made out of aluminium, overall it is basically a glass – aluminium sandwich design. It may come in two different colour variants, Classic Black and a funky sort of colour which will suit the youth very well; both of them may come with a matte or frosted finish. It may weigh about 182 grams and the dimensions may be similar to the already launched A73 5G, they are as follows 163.7 mm (height) x 76.1 mm (width) x 7.6 mm (thickness). Overall it will be a very stylish and beautiful Smartphone which will feel solid to hold.

Samsung Galaxy A74 5G may come with a 6.7 inch, 120Hz, SAMOLED+ display with 412 Pixels per Inch and a 20:9 aspect ratio, as a result, it will provide you with immersive viewing angles. It is a SAMOLED+ display which ensures you vibrant colours and as a result, consuming content will be a treat for your eyes. It will be an HDR 10+ certified display. It may have a screen-to-body ratio of about 91% and the display may have a punch hole camera embedded within it.

It may have the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 (5nm) processor, which is an Octa-core processor based on 5nm architecture. It is backed by the Arm Mali-G610 MC6 graphics engine. It will be able to handle your day-to-day tasks with ease and will be capable of handling medium to heavy gaming sessions with ease. It will not show any lag under heavy usage and while being very powerful it is also very power efficient, which will ensure good battery life.

It may have a triple rear camera setup with the main sensor of 108-megapixel (f/1.8, wide) as a result it can take high-quality images with ease, 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens (f/2.2) and an 8MP telephoto lens. It may record up to 4K at 30fps.
The front camera may get a 32-megapixel (f/2.0 wide) sensor, which can record up to 1080p at 30fps. It will have a very good low-light performance and can provide you with hassle-free video calls.
The rear and front cameras will produce good colours and natural skin tone.

- 8GB RAM paired with 256 GB of storage.
The storage can be expanded to 512GB. The RAM will be of LPDDR4X type and the storage will be of UFS 3.1 type
Samsung Galaxy A74 5G – Security and Connectivity
As per security is concerned it will have an under-display fingerprint sensor which will be of optical type. It will be very fast in response and will provide adequate security to your device.
It will have 5G support will all the 5G bands, it may also have NFC support. It will include Bluetooth version 5.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e (2.4GHz/ 5GHz)
It will have a hybrid sim card slot which means you can only run either 2 nano sim cards or a sim card and an SD card.
It will also have the latest Android 13 out of the box. It will also get a definite OS update to Android 14 and occasional security updates.

It is still a speculated device so its availability and launch are uncertain but we believe that it might come into appearance very soon.
It may have a price tag of about 599 Euro – 45000 INR.
