Last year, Vivo launched its first flagship tablet, the Vivo Pad. Now, the company has launched its successor the Vivo Pad 2. The company made this device a true flagship with a very big screen. The one-piece metal body is made of a high-grade aluminum alloy and it has an outstanding texture finish. The Vivo Pad 2 has launched to compete with the other brand’s tablets available in the market with more affordable prices and better on-paper specifications or features.

Display
The Vivo Pad 2 has a custom 12.1-inch big screen with a 7:5 golden ratio, which is larger than the 11-inch screen it had last year. Comparing the display area to the 11-inch screen, there has been a rise of 27.3%. The horizontal and vertical screens are quite pleasant. It can display more content, and the experience of web pages and files is closer to a PC. The screen and portrait screen is very comfortable. Simply put, this device can give users a feeling that is similar to a PC.
This display supports HDR10+ certification and boasts a 2.8K retina-level ultra-clear resolution. It also supports 144Hz e-sports-level high-brush smoothness, peak brightness of 600nits, and 1.07 billion colors. This screen also improves the eye protection ability, the world’s first chip-level intelligent anti-blue light, passed the German Rheinland low blue light certification, and also supports self-developed natural light.
Camera and Connectivity
In the camera department, this flagship tablet comes with an 8MP front camera for selfies. It also comes with a dual rear camera setup. Specifically, it has a 13MP main camera as well as a 2MP supporting sensor. The Vivo Pad 2 supports a 5Gbps high-speed USBC port, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, etc.
The Vivo Pad 2’s audio features include a self-created super audio system, a 10.2cc super-large sound chamber, and Vivo’s own Super Audio sound effect. It offers a more surging sound field and reaches a new audio-visual delight.
Hardware and Software
The Vivo Pad 2 is the best in its class in terms of performance. It has a battery capacity of 10,000 mAh that supports 44W flash charging. According to the company, this device will need only 139 minutes to get a full charge. Under the hood, this device comes with a Dimensity 9000 SoC that uses a 4nm tech. This chip has an 8-core CPU, and a 10-core GPU core operating at a maximum frequency of 3.05GHz. This tablet also boasts up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
In software, it comes with Vivo’s self-customized OriginOS 3.0 for Pad based on Android. It also supports the Vivo Pen (Digital pen/Stylus) and a keyboard specially customized by Vivo.
Pricing and Availability
At the official launch event, Vivo announced the prices as follows –
- 8GB + 128GB – ¥2499 ~ $364 ~ ₹29,900
- 8GB + 256GB – ¥3399 ~ $495 ~ ₹40,000
- Also, it is available in three amazing captivating color options. The 12GB + 512GB version will also be available in the market later.
- In addition, Vivo introduced a matching – Vivo Pencil 2 at ¥499 ~ $73 ~ ₹6,000
- Smart touch keyboard 2 at ¥599 ~ $87 ~ ₹7,000
