Vivo is a popular smartphone maker and seller, their smartphones are sold in China, India, and several other countries. In December 2022 Vivo launched its S16 Series, and now they are ready to launch Vivo S17 Series which includes Vivo S17 and Vivo S17 Pro. Starting with the Display, it has a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz 10bit Curved Amoled Display with 2772×1240 Pixel Resolution, 360Hz touch Sampling rate, 1200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, 1.07 billion colors, and 2160Hz PWM Dimming. This type of Display will give an amazing Flagship experience.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 SoC with Arm Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, which will give an amazing and fluent user experience. It has 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, which can be expanded up to 8GB via the Virtual RAM option and it has up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 Storage.
The Vivo S17 Pro has a 50MP (f/2.45) Front Camera, which will give an amazing selfie and up to 4K video recording support. It has a 50MP (IMX766V, OIS) Main Lens + 8MP Ultra-wide-angle lens + 12MP (IMX663) 2x Telephoto lens in the Rear Camera, this Camera setup will allow the user to take beautiful pictures, a better zoom and portrait shots, and up to 4K video recording.
The smartphone will be packed with a Nearly 4700mAh battery which will support 80W Fast Charging. It will come on OriginOS 3.0 based on Android 13 out of the Box, this will give some amazing software experience. For security, the smartphone has an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner and Face ID.
The Vivo S17 Pro has 5G, LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C Port for connectivity. The smartphone will be around 7.4mm thick and 185 grams in weight, this will give an amazing in-hand feeling.
Price and Launch
- Vivo S17 Pro will launch in the price range of CNY 3000 to 3800 which is approximately INR 35,500 to 44,960.
- This smartphone is expected to launch in June after the launch of its brother company OPPO.
Verdict
Vivo S17 Pro has 2 major upgrades this time, first is a 1.5K 120Hz 10bit Curved Amoled Display, which is an improvement from the FHD+ resolution Display, and the second upgrade is in 3rd Camera because this device has a 12MP 2x Telephoto Lens as compared to a 2MP Macro Lens in its predecessor. With this improvement, Vivo will also increase the price, but the user will have to use these new features. After China Launch this smartphone will launch in India and Globally in Q3 2023 as Vivo V29 Pro.
