Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro
Xiaomi launched two tablets in China in August 2021, the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro. The company is now introducing a new variant in the series with a larger display i.e. 12.4inch panel.
It will be the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 inch, which was previously leaked to Geekbench with a Snapdragon 870 chipset and the model number ‘22081281AC.’ The model will be unveiled at the Mi Mix Fold 2 launch event on August 11.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro: Design
According to official tablet renders, the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4-inch rear side camera module looks identical to the Xiaomi 12 Series, with a 50MP primary shooter and two other sensors.
The front retains the previous four sides of the equal-width full-screen solution, and the bezel appears to be very narrow beneath the large screen. Finally, the material used this time could be metal to ensure the stability of the larger screen display.
Expected Specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, just like the 11-inch variant that was released in China last year. The processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and runs an Android 12-based operating system, most likely MIUI 13.
Simultaneously, this model will receive a 120Hz panel, which could be AMOLED this time. There will also be 67W fast charging support and a battery capacity of around 9500mAh. It will also provide WiFi 6, 5G, and Bluetooth V5 connectivity.
Furthermore, Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ support will be added to the display, which will be paired with eight speakers specially tuned by Dolby Atmos. Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 inch will carry a UFS 3.1 storage limiting upto 1 Tera Bytes.
Expected Price & Models
Since the previous model, the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 11th costs around 40,000 Indian rupees (¥3,699). This model is also expected to be priced under ¥3,999 in China. It may also be released with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 inch will be available on August 11, during the launch event of Mi Mix Fold 2 & Redmi K50 Extreme.
