Motorola has been doing great in terms of providing good phones recently just like the Motorola G82 5G which it had launched in the global market and has made a great comeback now. It has been launching phones regularly now keeping up with the market and doing good in terms of sales.
So, It doesn’t come as a surprise that it is now been going to launch a 5G smartphone in the mid-budget segment. So, Let’s have a look at what the phone provides to make it a success in the market.
MOTOROLA G82 5G: SPECIFICATIONS
DISPLAY:
Moto G82 5G is expected to come with 6.6 inches 1080 x 2400 pixels display. It will have a 120Hz AMOLED Display with Full HD+ resolution supporting up to 16.7 Million colors. It will support a touch sampling rate up to 240Hz. There will be a center punch hole in the panel for the selfie camera.
Moto G82 5G is to have an approximate 90% screen-to-body ratio. The dimensions of the phone are 160.9 x 74.5 x 8 mm and it will weigh around 173 g. The device will have a peak brightness of 562 nits.
HARDWARE:
As far as hardware is considered, Moto G82 5G is expected to run on Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm), an Octa-core Processor which is new to the budget 5G segment.
Going further into core details it is 2×2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver and for the GPU part, it has Adreno 680 which is quite powerful for the budget 5G segment SoC.
The smartphone will feature a dual sim card slot along with the slot for a microSD card (expandable up to 1TB). It will feature a 3.5 mm headphone slot. Sensors on the device include Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, Compass, etc.
SOFTWARE:
Meanwhile, the device will have the Stock Android 12 UI out of the box. It may also get the 3 years of Android Upgrades. For security, you will get the Thinkshield Security chip with a side fingerprint scanner & Face unlock feature.
CAMERA:
Moto G82 5G will have a primary camera of 50 MP, f/1.8 (wide), a secondary lens of 8 MP, f/2.2, 118˚ (ultrawide), and a 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro lens). The primary camera supports video recording up to 1080p @ 30fps FHD.
For the selfie, it will have a single 16 MP, f/2.2, (wide). The front camera will support video recording up to 1080p @ 30fps FHD same as the rear camera. The camera will boast some features like LED flash, HDR, and panorama.
BATTERY :
Talking about battery capacity, it will feature a massive 5000 mAh Li-Polymer Non-Removable battery that is decent enough to last you for an entire day if not more. Moto G82 5G will come with a faster charging capacity of 30W which would juice up the device 5000mAh with enough speed. The charger can charge the device in a 70mins from 0% to 100% as per the company’s claim.
MEMORY AND STORAGE:
Motorola G82 5G device will offer 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage configuration. The device will have LPDDR4X RAM & UFS 2.2 Storage type. However, it doesn’t support memory expansion which is no big deal, and supports storage expansion up to 1TB via microSD card, though it will have a hybrid slot.
CONNECTIVITY:
Talking about the connectivity, Motorola G82 5G supports 2G, 3G, and 4G connectivity. It also supports VoLTE (Voice over Long-Term Evolution). The device also has WIFI and Bluetooth V5.0 support along with A2DP, LE, and apt-X HD. It comes with a USB-Type C V2.0 to charge up the device battery.
Motorola G82 5G: Price & Availability
The Motorola G82 5G is currently being launched globally. The Motorola G82 5G is available in a single 6GB + 128GB variant, which is priced at ¢329( ₹26,500 approx) globally. The device will be available in the following color options: Metallic Grey & water Lily. The smartphone is expected to launch in India on June 7 as confirmed by the company. “The Expected Price of this smartphone for 6GB+128GB will be Rs. 21,999.”
