Oneplus NORD CE 5G Confirmed Specs, Features, Price & First Looks

So, oneplus is going to refresh their budget NORD series with a new addition to it. The new device is ONEPLUS NORD CE 5G. Here, CE stands for CORE EDITION. This device will launch as an AMAZON exclusive device in India. The launch date is 10th JUNE. Now, let’s see what this new device will pack under its hood because its price will be less than last year’s ONEPLUS NORD.

Design & COLOUR:

According to some leaks, the design is exactly the same as last year’s ONEPLUS NORD. So, in terms of design, this ONEPLUS NORD CE will disappoint few consumers who always look forward to unique new designs. In terms of color, only 2 colors have been confirmed i.e. Charcoal Ink, Lighty Blue.

Display:

Oneplus NORD CE will sport a 6.43″ FHD+ FLUID AMOLED display which is essentially a SAMOLED display. It also has a 90Hz high refresh rate. The display protection is of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. So, that being said, we won’t see any major improvement compared to last year’s ONEPLUS NORD.

Processor:

In terms of processor, actually this NORD CE will see a downgrade in performance. It will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G processor which is an 8nm CPU whereas snapdragon 765G is a 7nm processor. Snapdragon 750G scored 323K in ANTUTU V8 and Snapdragon 765G scored 333K in ANTUTU V8. so, we won’t get that much performance difference in use.

Camera:

For the camera, this ONEPLUS NORD CE will actually get an upgrade. This time, we will get a 64MP main sensor as compared to 48MP in the previous NORD phone. But in this phone, we will have 64MP(Main Sensor) + 8MP(Ultra Wide) + 5MP(depth) camera structure. For selfie lovers, there is a 16MP snapper too.

RAM & ROM:

According to leaks, this time ONEPLUS NORD CE will get 3 variants i.e. 6+128 GB, 8+128 GB & 8+256 GB. Here, the RAM quality is LPDDR4X but the memory quality will be UFS 3.1 which is actually very good considering the budget price. But unfortunately, there is no SD CARD slot.

Battery:

ONEPLUS NORD CE will pack a relatively small 4115 mAh battery with a 65W fast charge which can fill it in nearly 45 minutes. The connectivity port will be USB TYPE C.

OS & CONNECTIVITY:

ONEPLUS NORD CE is expected to include ANDROID 11 out of the box. In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band Wi-Fi, hotspot Bluetooth 5.2. For security, it has an under-display fingerprint sensor.

PRICE:

As per leaks, it should start at around ₹22000 in india.
