OPPO A17K Specs

There has been an official launch of OPPO’s A17K in India in the budget category. There is a large market for this series of smartphones in India. The majority of devices are sold on the offline market as opposed to the online market. OPPO has launched an overpriced smartphone in the Indian market. However, in the offline market it will be sold well and buyers will get extra discounts and other Diwali special gifts.

• It is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with IMG GE8320 @ 680MHz GPU.

• It has a 5MP (f/2.2) (Galaxycore GC5035) Front Camera and an 8MP (f/2.0) Rear Camera, Both Front and rear Cameras can record up to 1080p at 30fps.
•  It has 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM, which can be expanded up to 4GB via the Virtual RAM Option, and it has 64GB of eMMC 5.1 Storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with an SD Card.

Battery, Charging, & Speaker

• It is packed with a 5000mAh battery which supports 10W Charging.
• OPPO A17K comes with a single bottom firing speaker, which is mounted at the bottom of the device.

Security & Software

• The smartphone has a Side Mounted Fingerprint Scanner and Face ID for Security.
• In terms of software, the device is running on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12-out-of-the-box, and it comes with a built-in camera.

Connectivity & Other

• For Connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, 3.5mm Headphone Jack, and USB Micro USB 2.0 Port for Charging & Data Transfer.

• The smartphone is launched in a Single 3GB+64GB variant which cost Rs. 10,499.

• The Smartphone is launched in 2 different color options; the options are Navy Blue and Gold.

Opinion

Although the handset is launched at a reasonable price in India as per the offline market, it is overpriced in the online market. This smartphone is mainly targeted at the local Indian market around the time of Diwali. This is because during this time many people will be buying new phones at this time, and these may sell well under the price of Rs. 10,000. In offline markets, there will be some amazing offers and gifts that will be offered with this smartphone, which will attract customers to buy it.
