The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G series has been launched in India, featuring two smartphones: the Redmi Note 12 Pro and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. Both smartphones are the same as the Chinese Variant, but the Indian variants have MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box.

One of the main differences between the two smartphones is the camera setup. The Redmi Note 12 Pro features a 50MP (IMX766, OIS) Main + 8MP 120Ā° Ultra-wide-angle lens + 2MP Macro lens in Rear Camera, while the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has a 200MP (HMX, OIS) Main + 8MP 120Ā° Ultra-wide-angle lens + 2MP Macro lens in Rear Camera. Both devices can record up to 4K at 30fps, but the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has a more powerful camera setup overall.

Overall the Redmi Note 12 Pro is a good smartphone, but after the card discount the purchasing of this device makes more sense, and this is a True competition with the recently launched Realme 10 Pro+.
