Realme is set to launch its latest smartphone, the Realme GT Neo 5, in China on February 9th, 2023. This is the successor of Realme GT Neo 3 which was launched in March 2022, and as a successor GT Neo 5 has an upgraded Display, Processor, Main Camera, Battery, Charging, and Software.

The device boasts a number of impressive features, starting with its 6.74-inch 1.5K 144Hz 10-bit OLED display, which is protected by Gorilla Glass and supports 2160Hz PWM dimming. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU and an Adreno 730 GPU, making it a powerful option for gamers and power users. Near the Rear Camera, there is an RGB Light, which will be used for Notification and Charging purposes.
The camera setup of the Realme GT Neo 5 is also noteworthy, with a 16MP front camera and a 50MP IMX890 OIS main + 8MP ultra-wide-angle + 2MP macro rear camera. The device is available with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or even 1TB UFS 3.1 storage.
The device comes with a 5000mAh battery which supports 150W fast charging, but the standout feature is its 4600mAh battery which supports an astonishing 240W ultra-fast charging, making it the first smartphone to offer such fast charging speeds. The Realme GT Neo 5 runs on Realme UI 4.0, based on Android 13, and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. It also has an IR Blaster and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device also has an in-display fingerprint scanner and is just 8.9mm thick, weighing 199 grams.
Price Range
- The price range of the Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to be around CNY 3000 to 4500, which is approximately INR 36,720 to 55,100.
- The device is expected to launch in India at around Rs. 40,000 to 50,000.
