Vivo is preparing to launch a new tablet model that will succeed its original Pad model, but a recent leak has revealed some key specifications of the Vivo pad 2.

The Google Play Supported Devices List had previously hinted at the PA2373 model number of the Pad 2 and suggested it could feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
However, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Chinese tech giant’s Pad 2 will come equipped with MediaTek’s high-end Dimensity 9000 chipset.
While the original Vivo Pad model featured an 11-inch IPS LCD panel, the Vivo Pad 2 is expected to have a taller 12-inch LCD panel that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a high resolution, similar to its predecessor.
The tipster also suggests that the new flagship tablet model will be powered by a large battery pack, but the exact capacity is yet to be revealed.
The original Pad model featured a massive 8,040mAh battery, so a similar battery size can be expected in its successor.
The quad-speaker system for an improved audio experience is also likely to make a return, and there may be an upgrade to the dual-camera setup on the rear or an increase in camera sensor count.
The 8-megapixel selfie shooter found on the older model may also be upgraded. It’s important to note that these details are still unconfirmed, so more updates are expected soon.
