After tremendous success on POCO brand in India, POCO is launching more and more POCO branded smartphones in India. Though not all are fully designed by them. POCO which was earlier a sub-brand of XIAOMI now is a completely independent brand. POCO has gained huge success in the Indian smartphone market as well as in foreign markets. Now, the next big thing from POCO will be POCO M3 PRO which is going to be a 5G mid-range smartphone and it will compete directly with REALME NARZO 30 PRO. Let’s quickly see what will be the features of this upcoming monster.
Form Factor
Poco M3 Pro 8.9mm thick and it’s weight is 190 gram. It has polycarbonate back material that will surely attract some scratch in long term usage.
Display
Poco M3 Pro will have a 6.5″ FHD+ IPS LCD panel. It will have a display refresh rate of 90hz. It will have a screen-to-body ratio of nearly 90% and will also feature 400 nits of display brightness. The front of the display will be protected by CORNING GORILLA GLASS 3.
Processor
Poco M3 Pro will have Mediatek Dimensity 700 CPU. It is a very power-efficient 5G CPU based on 7nm fabrication process. Dimensity 700 has 4 high-performance Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and 4 power-efficient cortex a55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. Dimensity 700 scored 2,50,000 in ANTUTU V8.
Camera
Poco M3 Pro will have a triple camera setup featuring a 48 mp main snapper (f/1.8), a 2mp macro sensor (f/2.4), and a 2 mp depth sensor (f/2.4). It has an 8 mp (f/2.0) front camera too for selfie lovers. The back camera has a dual-tone led flash but in terms of the front camera, it has only screen flash. The 48mp main camera can shoot 1080p FHD video in 120 FPS and 4K video in 30 FPS. The 8mp front camera can shoot in 1080p 30FPS only.
RAM & Storage
Poco M3 Pro will come in 3 different storage variants – 4/64 GB, 4/128 GB & 6/128 GB. It has a dedicated microSDXC card slot of up to 256 GB. Here the RAM quality will be LPDDR4X and storage will be UFS 2.2 that ensures fast read and write speed.
Battery & Charger
Poco M3 Pro will come with a 5000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with an 18-watt fast charge. And the great news is that it will be packed in the box too unlike some specific brands. The charging port will be USB TYPE C 2.0.
Sensors & Network
Poco M3 Pro will have all necessary sensors like accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, etc. In terms of the fingerprint sensor, we are getting a side-mounted finger-print. For the network, we will have Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, BT 5.1, DUAL 4G Volte, 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS support.
Color
It will launch in 4 attractive colors – Chrome Silver, Graphite Gray, Nighttime Blue, Aurora Green.
Price & India Launch
This is launched in EUROPE at 170 EURO which will roughly convert to 15K-16K when it comes to India. The smartphone is expected to launch in the 4th week of MARCH 2021.
