Xiaomi 12 Ultra
After the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Series in December 2021 China, we widely missed the Ultra variant of the series which will be the successor of the Xiaomi 11 Ultra. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra was earlier available in many leaks, Rumors in China.
Now, we found a live image including camera & Processor specifications on the internet. It will get a massive upgrade over the last generation but significantly misses the rearview panel.
Key Specifications
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra variant was leaked by @Equalleaks which claims that this model will too surface with a 6.73inch 10 Bit E5 OLED panel. It will carry 2K resolution with LPTO 2.0 technology and provide brightness up to 1500 nits. It will be a curved panel with a tiny punch hole at the centre.
For performance, it sports the Snapdragon top tier 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset built using TSMC’4nm architecture. It will be an overclocked version of the current flagship chip and will be paired with UFS 3.1 storage & LPDDR5 RAM support.
Since the Ultra model is the ultimate Flagship from the house of Redmi. It has a triple camera setup on the Rear side accompanied by a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor which is the first to use on smartphones. It is further coupled with 48MP Ultrawide & 48MP telephoto with 120X zoom capabilities. On the front, it sports a 32MP front-facing camera.
It’s no doubt that the device will boot up the latest b out-of-the-box with software upgrade criteria over 4 years. There is an In-display fingerprint scanner & Face Unlock for security. It brings a 4900 Mah battery which pairs the 120W fast charging & 50W wireless charging support.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra pairs X-linear motor, NFC, stereo quad speakers, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth V5.3, IR Blaster & More features. It will be further protected by Gorilla Glass VICTUS+ with IP 68 Dust-Water ratings.
Price & Launch Date in China
With this many specifications, the Expected price of this series has also been released over the internet. It claims that the 8GB/256GB variant could catch a price of ¥5,999 (₹ 68,417) which is accompanied by 12GB/256GB at ¥6,499 (₹74,180) with 12GB/512GB at ¥6,799 (₹77,600) with last 16GB/512GB variant priced at ¥7,299 (₹83,310).
Similarly, Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be available in Black, White, and Marble colour options. Since this is what we all know till now. Further specifications will be available with the launch event which would be held in the last week of June.
