Asus is all set to launch the Rog phone 6D series, which includes two smartphones – Rog phone 6D and 6D ultimate on 19th august.
The brand has officially confirmed that the Rog phone 6D ultimate will launch with a MediaTek dimensity 9000+ chipset. This will be the first Rog series smartphone which will powered by mediate soc. The rog 6D ultimate is said to be similar to rog 6 series, which was launched earlier this year except soc.

Ahead of the official launch the renders of the handsets has been leaked by Tipster Evan blass AKA evleaks in collaboration with 91mobiles.
ROG Phone 6D and the 6D Ultimate will be similar to the Snapdragon variants, which were launched in June. Both models have slightly thick bezels at the top and bottom of the display. The top bezel houses the front camera and the earpiece. On the back, there is a triple-camera setup.

The company has confirmed that the phones will feature a Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The 6D models are likely to offer up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Both handsets are likely to sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate support. The display will have a peak brightness of 1200 nits and come with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
ASUS is also likely to pack the same 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support found in the Snapdragon variants. They will also come with support for several gaming accessories, such as the AeroActive Cooler 6 fan.
moving to the optics, both the devices will support for 8K video recording. If the specs are the same, we can expect the devices to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 13MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro lens.
