On October 4, Google is scheduled to unveil the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Now new report from 9to5Google unveil the Pricing and Availability for both the devices in US market. Let’s take a look into it.

According to report, the Pixel 8 is expected to be priced at $699, while the Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to have a price tag of $999. This represents a $100 price hike for both models from its predecessor.

For reference, The currently available Pixel 7 is priced at $599, offering a substantial $200 saving compared to the equivalent Samsung Galaxy S23. Additionally, the Pixel 7 Pro is listed at $899, providing a $300 cost advantage over the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in US.

Both devices are set to make their debut in retail stores on October 12, with pre-orders scheduled to commence on October 4 in US and on October 5 in India, as confirmed by Google.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro boasts a 6.71-inch OLED screen with QHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, while the Google Pixel 8 features a slightly smaller 6.17-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and the same 120Hz refresh rate. both devices to equip with its custom Google Tensor G3 SoC, which could lead to improved performance and AI capabilities compared to previous models.

The Pixel 8 Pro boasts a 4,950mAh battery with 27W wired fast charging and 12W wireless charging capabilities. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 packs a slightly smaller 4,485mAh battery with 24W wired fast charging and the same 12W wireless charging support.

Google is offering a selection of attractive color options for both models. The Pixel 8 comes in Hazel, Obsidian, Rose, and Mint, while the Pixel 8 Pro offers Bay, Obsidian, Porcelain, and Mint finishes.
