Google planning to launch a new Google Pixel Tab in 2023

Remember the Google Pixel Slate which was launched in early 2015. Since it was a much-criticised product by Google, The company stops the production of its tablets after that. Now, Google is planning to come back with a new Google Pixel Tab which is showcased at Google I/O 2022.

During the hardware presentation at Google I/O 2022, the company teased the first look of its tablet. Rick Osterloh, senior vice president of Devices & Services at Google said that the upcoming pixel tablet will come in premium categories which will make use of the Company’s Tensor chips.

Highlights:

• Google Pixel series tablets will make their first debut in later 2023.
• We haven’t any confirmed specifications of this tablet yet.
• This tablet will target Entertainment & consumers rather than working people.

What to Expect

Since this Google Pixel Tab is only showcased at the Google I/O 2022 only. Even we have more than a year to available this tablet commercially. It will be focused on the Multimedia category premium tablets, unlike others.

Similarly, the design looks very similar to Google Nest Hub. Even being a premium category tablet, it packs thick bezels on all sides with a single front-facing camera. We expect quad speakers set with the dual rear camera will come with this device.

Google claims that it will exclusively optimize many Google apps for the larger screen devices with more than 20+ third-party apps too. Google Pixel Tab will be launched with the latest Android version of that time which will be optimized for larger screens.

Since we have no more info about this tablet yet. Eventually, it has more than a year to be announced by Google officially. We expect more leaks would be available with time reaches its launch event.
