IQoo Neo 6
IQoo officially confirmed a new premium phone launching next week in China. It will be the iQoo Neo 6 5G which will be the successor to the last year’s iQoo Neo 5. Eventually, the company set the launch event for 13 April, which is just two days forward from the Vivo X Fold.
Meanwhile, it will also debut in India but could get a different name. So on, the company officially confirmed the design & look rendered out in an official teaser. Let’s hook up with the all known details, design & more, we get so far before the official event.
Key Specifications
Although, the company officially teased the iQoo Neo 6 5G in an Orange shade. It looks to get the vegan leather finish for the orange colour, while the other colours could be Black & Blue. Meanwhile, the back camera module looks very similar to the iQoo 9 Series launched earlier. It contains a triple camera setup inside the rectangular module.
Earlier, a leaked screenshot of this phone with model No V2196A was leaked through the Geekbench site which gave us the info about its processor & Storage option. The phone got the model name ‘taro’ which reveals that there is a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip alleged with the 12GB LPDDR5 RAM & 256GB UFS 3.1 storage model. Meanwhile, you can also expect the other Variants likely to be 8GB & 128GB models.
Even the phone gets the 6.62-inch panel leaked online earlier. Further specs for the display includes is its Super Amoled panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. iQoo Neo 6 5G can also take up the advantage of HDR 10+ content even with the independent display chip with Adaptive Refresh Rate.
Camera & Battery
About the camera, iQoo Neo 6 will pack the 50MP main sensor. This Sony IMX 766 sensor may be further accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide & 12MP 2x portrait lens. Meanwhile, you will get the 16MP sensor for selfies & video calls. There is the support of OIS confirmed with the teased image and it offers shooting up or 8K at 30FPS.
Eventually, we would get that there will be two 2350MAh batteries inside the device. Through which we assumed that it has a 4700Mah battery which will further get the 80W superVOOC charging option. IQoo Neo 6 5G will also take the advantage of its large heat Vacuum heat dissipation system for better thermal efficiency.

Although, the iQoo Neo 6 5G specs the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship chip. It gets the dual 5G, MIMO, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth V5.2, GPS(up to tri-band) & many more features. For protection, the device includes the optical In-display Fingerprint scanner & Face unlock feature.
The device boots up the latest Android 12 out of the box in China with Origin OS. While you can think of iQoo UI based on Android 12 when it will be available globally. You may not get the 3.5mm jack or any dedicated card slot with this phone.
Price & Launch
This device is officially launching on 13 April confirmed by the company itself. Meanwhile, iQoo Neo 6 Price in India may start from 45-50K for its base 8GB/128GB variant which may become a direct rival to the Moto Edge 30 Pro. While the 12GB RAM & 256GB Variant can be priced at 52K in India while the Chinese model could get 3499 Yuan price.
