Literally, iQoo was silent for the last 1 year. Their only smartphone launch in India was IQOO 3 5G which was a phenomenal gaming smartphone in terms of features and price. This year IQOO is going to launch many smartphones in the Indian market ranging from budget to flagship. Among these, four are confirmed i.e. IQOO 7 LEGEND, IQOO U1X, IQOO Z3 5G, and IQOO NEO 5. Here we will see what this IQOO Z3 5G has in store in us.

Design:

Iqoo is a sub-brand of VIVO. As a result, iqoo’s smartphone design resembles a lot with VIVO. IQOO Z3 5G won’t be too distinct either. It has a polycarbonate body with a nice gradient finish. Its thickness is 8.5 mm and its weight is 185 grams. As a result, the phone will feel very light in hand. It will launch in three beautiful colors i.e. Black, Blue, Silver.

Display:

IQOO Z3 5G will pack a 6.58″ FHD+ IPS LCD display. The display supports a 120Hz high refresh rate for smooth gameplay. It also supports HDR10 content too. The screen-to-body ratio of the display is almost 89%. Still, there’s no information on whether the display has any screen protection or not.

Processor:

IQOO Z3 5G will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SOC. This is a powerful 7 nm SOC with 5G capability. It scored nearly 350K in the ANTUTU V8 benchmark score. But, there is also rumour that this smartphone may pack a Snapdragon 780G exclusively for the Indian market. As per leaks, the phone won’t have any dedicated cooling feature.

RAM & ROM:

IQOO Z3 5G will come in 3 storage variants i.e. 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB. The RAM structure is LPDDR4X but it has fast UFS 2.2 storage to run applications faster. It has support for storage expansion through SD too but the phone has a HYBRID CARD slot. It means that we can use either dual sim or one sim and one SD card at a time.

Camera:

In terms of camera, IQOO Z3 5G will have a triple camera setup. The main sensor is a 64MP snapper, the others are an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfie lovers, it has a 16MP camera at the front though it doesn’t have any dedicated front flash. The manufacturer of the main 64MP sensor is still unknown. It may be SAMSUNG, SONY, or OmniVision.

Battery:

IQOO Z3 5G didn’t bet big on battery capacity. It has a mediocre 4400 mAh battery but it has a fast charge of 55 Watt in the box. With this charger, the battery will full-charge in around 30 mins. The charging port is USB TYPE C too.

Sensors & Connectivity:

In terms of sensors, it has all the necessary ones including the SIDE-MOUNTED fingerprint sensor. For listening to music through headphones, it has a 3.5 MM jack at the bottom. For connectivity, it has 5.1, A2DP, LE, aptX HD, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS. It should be noted that it doesn’t have NFC support.

India Launch Date & Price:

According to rumor, IQOO Z3 5G will launch in MAY, 2021 and the starting price of the base variant will be under ₹20,000. But according to some popular leaksters, there is a chance that the phone may pack Snapdragon 780G. As a result, this phone will be the most powerful smartphone under ₹20,000.
