Motorola announced its upcoming Smartphone in the flagship segment The Moto X30 Pro on Thursday (August 11), 2022. It is under development and testing, but in between some key specifications were released about the same. A new competitor arises in the flagship segment and is ready to give fierce competition to its counterparts by having good specifications and an aggressive price point when compared to its other counterparts. It is expected to step into the Indian markets very soon.
Moto X30 Pro – Design and colour
The Moto X30 Pro may follow more of a rounded design language; the edges are smoothened out and as a result, it will feel comfortable to hold for people with shorter hands. It has a glass back and the frame will be made out of aluminium overall it is basically a glass-aluminium sandwich design. It may come in two different colour variants, the White and the more of a matte finished Satin Grey or Black. It may weigh about 198.5 grams and the dimensions are as follows 161.70 mm (height) x 73.50 mm (width) x 8.40 mm (thickness). Overall it will be a Smartphone with a very sleek and subtle design.
Moto X30 Pro – Display
The Moto X30 Pro comes with a 6.70 inch, 144 Hz, OLED display with 393 Pixels per Inch and a 20:9 aspect ratio, as a result, it will provide you with immersive viewing angles and vibrant colours. It is an OLED panel which supports 1 billion colours, has HDR 10+ certification and has 1250 nit of peak brightness as a result consuming content will be a treat for your eyes to look at. It has a resolution of about (2400×1080 pixels). It has a screen-to-body ratio of about 91.2%.
Moto X30 Pro – Processor
It will be power packed with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (4nm) processor, which is an Octa-core processor based on 4nm architecture. It is backed by the Qualcomm Adreno GPU. It will be able to handle your day-to-day tasks with ease and will be capable of handling heavy and hardcore gaming sessions with ease. It will not show any kind of lag under heavy usage and while being very powerful it is also very power efficient, which will ensure good battery life.
Moto X30 Pro – Camera
It will flex a triple rear camera setup with the main sensor of a whooping 200-megapixel (f/2.0, wide) as a result it can take high-quality images with ease, a 50-megapixels ultra-wide angle lens (f/2.2) and a telephoto lens of 12 megapixels (f/1.6). It can record up to 8K at 30fps & 4K at 30fps. It has a dual LED flash which gives a superior performance at the night.
The front camera will get a 60-megapixel (f/2.2 wide) sensor, which can record up to 4K at 30fps & 1080p at 30fps. It has a very good low-light performance and can provide you with hassle-free video calls.
Both the rear and front camera supports HDR video recording.
Moto X30 Pro – Battery
The Moto X30 Pro will be getting a 4610mah Lithium Polymer battery pack as a result it will easily last you a full day, and along with that comes a 125-watt Turbo power fast charger which will give you 50% charge within 7 min and 100% charge within 19 min, but these are just the claims and the real performance is yet to be tested. It has a very efficient processor as a result it can retain the juice for a day-long under moderate to heavy usage.
Moto X30 Pro – Speakers
The Moto X30 Pro will get a dual stereo speaker set with the support of Dolby Atmos audio, as a result, will provide adequate loudness and sound clarity. It lacks the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Moto X30 Pro – Other Features
The Moto X30 Pro will get dual microphones. It will include all the necessary sensors. It is both splash and dust resistant. It may have the Thinkshield protection which will save you from any potential Spyware, phishing and other potential damage from your hardware to software, giving your mobile device comprehensive security.
Moto X30 Pro – Variants
It is offered in two variants-
- 8GB RAM paired with 128 GB of storage.
- 12GB RAM paired with 512 GB of storage
There is no support for SD cards and the storage will be of UFS 3.1 type.
Moto X30 Pro – Security and Connectivity
As per security is concerned it will have an under-display fingerprint sensor which will be of optical type. It will be very fast in response and will provide adequate security to your device.
It will have 5G support and NFC support. It will include Bluetooth version 5.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e (2.4GHz/ 5GHz)
It will have a dual sim card slot which means you can only run 2 nano sim cards.
It will also have the latest Android 12 out of the box with all its bells and whistles. Motorola may also offer a definite OS update to Android 13 and three years of security updates.
Moto X30 Pro – Launch and Price
Motorola announced The Moto X30 Pro on the 11th of August 2022 but there is no news about its availability in the Indian markets. We speculate that it might step into the Indian markets during the festive season.
It may have a price tag of about (42000 – 48000) Rs.
