Remember the Edge 30 Pro launched earlier in India. It was the cheapest device to have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. This ultimate Flagship cost around ₹45K in India. Now, the company has teased a lighter version of this phone. Motorola Edge 30 will join the series containing the all-new Snapdragon 778G Plus chip & More.
Motorola has officially announced that this phone will be launched on 12 May and is the slimmest 5G device we had ever seen. As the launch event has the tagline #FindYourEdge and will feature only a 6.79mm 5G phone. Here are its come of key specs.
Expected Key Specs
The display of this device looks the same as on the top variant. It also gets the 6.5inch FHD+ OLED panel which will carry a 144HZ refresh rate. It is additionally certified for HDR 10+ contents and has 1.07 Billion colours with DCI-P3. It weighs only 155G with 6.79mm thickness and even has the Glass back panel.
For performance, it sports the Snapdragon 778G plus chipset based on 6nm architecture. It is a performance loaded chip which would use the 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM & 128GB/256GB uMCP storage. Meanwhile, it will support up to 13 5G band support. In the meantime, it will boot up the latest Android 12 out-of-the-box which is confirmed to have two major Android upgrades.
Similarly, the phone sports the premium rear cameras consisting of two 50 megapixels sensors as Primary & Ultrawide while is further aligned with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it is hooked up with a 32MP selfie sensor inside the punch hole.
Motorola Edge 30 has the latest Wi-Fi 6E support coupled with Bluetooth V5.2 & NFC. Its physical overview showcased that it won’t include any card slot but have the stereo speakers, dual mics & assistant button. For security, it has the side-mounted fingerprint & Faces Unlock feature.

Price & Release Date in India
The company has already announced that the device will launch on 12 May in India. While we won’t get any information about the price of this phone. We expect Motorola Edge 30 to be priced at ₹25 to ₹27K for the base model.
