Motorola Frontier 22 to launch in July 2022, key specs leaked

Motorola’s new flagship smartphone codenamed Frontier 22 is going to launch in July 2022. The phone’s key specifications have leaked. According to the leaks, Motorola Frontier 22 would be the first smartphone to feature a 200MP rear camera. According to sources, this device can be part of the Motorola Edge 30 series.

Display

Motorola Frontier 22 will feature a 6.67″ FHD+ display. The phone also features an OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.

Processor

The phone will feature an overclocked Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC. This SoC will reportedly be called Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8 Gen1+. The normal Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (4 nm) SoC is an octa core processor with a clockrate of 1800 – 2995 MHz and Adreno 730 GPU.

Camera

Motorola Frontier 22 will feature a Triple Rear camera setup. The phone features a 200 MP main camera with OIS. Moreover, the device will also feature a 50 MP Ultra Wide camera with a 12 MP 2X zoom Telephoto camera. The phone will come with a 60 MP front camera.

Storage

The phone will come in 128 GB 8 GB RAM and 256 GB 12 GB RAM variants. The device will feature UFS 3.1 storage with LPDDR5 RAM.

Battery and Charging

The device will feature a 4500 mAh battery with a 125W wired fast charging and USB C with DisplayPort 1.4 support. Moreover, it will also feature 50W wireless fast charging.

Operating System

The phone will come with Android 12 with myUX custom skin.
