HMD Global‘s main focus has been budget smartphones in its Nokia smartphone range since a long time. So, the company showcased a lot of budget smartphones at CES 2022 for the US market.
HMD Global revealed only few specifications of these phones and refused to reveal all key specs. So, its quite difficult to judge if these smartphones are value for money or not without knowing all the key specifications. Till then, lets discuss the details that we currently have about these smartphones.
Nokia G400 and G100
Nokia G400 features a 6.6″ LCD display with 120 Hz refresh rate. It is the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. It will feature a 5000 mAh battery. According to reports, it will feature a Snapdragon 480 SoC which makes it a 5G enabled smartphone. The phone will feature a triple back camera setup: 48 MP main camera, 5 MP ultra wide camera and 2 MP macro.
Now, lets talk about Nokia G100 which features a 6.5″ HD+ LCD display. It will feature a 5000 mAh battery. The phone will feature a triple back camera setup. According to reports, it will feature a Snapdragon 615 SoC which is five year old budget SoC. If this news is confirmed then this phone wouldn’t receive many Android version updates. HMD Global should use a newer SoC in this phone.
The expected price of G400 is around 239 USD and G100 expected price is around 149 USD. Both phones are expected to launch in Q2 2022.
Nokia C100 and C200
Nokia C200 features a 6.1″ HD+ LCD display. It will feature a 3000 mAh battery with a single rear camera setup.
Nokia C100 features a 5.45″ HD+ LCD display. It will feature a 3000 mAh battery. Moreover, it will feature a single 8 MP rear camera setup.
The expected price of C200 is around 119 USD and C100 expected price is around 99 USD. C200 is expected to launch in Q2 2022 and C100 is expected to launch in Q1 2022.
Nokia 2760 Flip
Moreover, HMD Global will also release Nokia 2760 Flip which is a 4G enabled, KaiOS feature phone. Its expected price is 79 USD.
