The smartphone company Nokia is at its top edge to launch out its new budget phones in the smartphone markets. As the Company has already leaked some specs of the next upcoming budget phone – Nokia C21 and the Nokia C21 Plus. Although, This phone will range around 6-7K pricing and will be targeted for budget-friendly people starting on the Android. So, let’s see its specs & expected pricing ahead of its launch.
Nokia C21 & Plus: Design
This phone will be substituted with a plastic back & frame with a metallic chassis. The upper variant C21 Plus would go with IP52 ratings & 8.6mm thickness while C21 hasn’t mentioned any ratings & 8.8mm thickness. Moreover, the C21 Plus model has a squicircle cutout with dual cams and a rear fingerprint while the C21 has a circular single can cutout with a fingerprint.
Both of the phones will go with a V-shaped notch & 6.52inch HD+ display under the hood. Although, you will get a 120Hz touch sample rate with brightness up to 400nits. There is a large chin on Native C21 while C21 comes with a reduced chin & 82% screen body ratio.
Battery & Processor & Camera
Nokia has introduced a larger battery capacity up to 4000MAh/5050MAh battery on its Plus model while the Native C21 is bonded with a 3000MAh battery. With the battery, you would get a 5W or 10W charging support.
While you will get a 13MP primary and a 2MP depth sensor on the Nokia C21 Plus model. The younger brother Nokia C21 has a single 8MP sensor. At the front, both devices include a 5MP Selfie sensor.
Both devices of the C21 Series have a UNISOC SC9863 chipset based on a 28nm fabrication process. Of, these are budget centric we can’t expect much. At the same time, you will get emmc 5.1 storage & LPDDR4 RAM support.
UI & Other Features
The Nokia C21 series have a stock UI enabled on the device. This series is launching to the market with the Android 11 GO edition under the hood. Moreover, There is Dedicated Card Slot, Wifi 4, Bluetooth V4.2 with a Micro USB port present on the device. Although, you will get a face lock accompanied by a fingerprint scanner for security purposes.
Nokia C21/ Plus: Variants & Pricing
The C21 series is the company’s low-budget series which will be priced downside the ₹10K. For the Native C21, there is a 2GB/3GB RAM variant with a 32GB/64GB storage variant. The upper model C21 Plus will get a 4GB RAM variant too at the moment. As the Company is yet is announce the actual price of these phones. You can expect 5-6K for the Nokia C21 while the C21 Plus costs 7-8K. The European cost of the device starts from 8000 rupees for C21 & 10,100 for the c21 plus.
