The X30 5G features a metal frame made of 100% recycled aluminium and a plastic back made of 65% recycled material. Even the retail box is 94% recycled paper (all FSC-certified). The phone has a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, it has a 16MP front-facing camera.

The Nokia X30 5G features a 6.43-inch 1080p FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 700 nits. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and has a 4,200mAh battery with 33W charging. Even after 800 cycles, the battery will retain 80% of its capacity.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chip and comes with 6 or 8GB of RAM as well as 128 or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It ships with Android 12 and will receive three years of Android upgrades as well as monthly security updates.

Connectivity options include USB-C 2.0, 5G (sub-6GHz) with dual nano sims (and an eSIM), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and an IR blaster. The phone’s body is dust and water-resistant, with an IP67 rating.
