Nokia X50 Tipped To Come With SD 775G & 108MP Penta Camera

Nokia is planning to release a monster to rule the mid-range smartphone market. This monster is NOKIA X50 which is the true successor of NOKIA 8.3. This phone will get many industry-first features like a 108MP Penta camera setup with ZEISS optics. Now, let’s see what this NOKIA X50 will sport.

Design:

In terms of design, NOKIA X50 will resemble NOKIA 8.3. Moreover, in recent times, all of NOKIA smartphones have a similar design. So, this time to there is a high possibility that we will see NOKIA’s modern simplistic design format. The main design specification of NOKIA’s smartphones for past few years is that it comes with multiple color variants. So, this time too, this design philosophy won’t change.

Display:

According to leaks, NOKIA X50 will sport a massive 6.8″ QHD+ OLED display with NOKIA PureView V4 technology. As a result, the display will be extremely color accurate. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate and at least a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display will get protection from CORNING GORILLA GLASS 5. There is no information if the device will get a curved option like the recently launched REALME X7 MAX.

Processor:

As some leaks suggest, NOKIA X50 will be powered by unannounced QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 775G soc. There is multiple news about this SOC in the last few months. So, this SOC is coming soon. In terms of performance, SD 775G will get a 50-60% performance boost compared to SNAPDRAGON 765G. Qualcomm will place this SOC between Snapdragon 768G and 780G. In terms of the ANTUTU score, it scored 530K+ in ANTUTU V8 which is extremely good considering its mid-range price. As a result, this phone will literally be a gaming powerhouse if the price is right.

Camera:

For the camera, NOKIA X50 will sport a 108MP main sensor with 4 more sensors, i.e. total of 5 cameras set up in the back. The 108MP main sensor will most probably be SAMSUNG HM2 sensor. Other sensors are a wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens, a macro lens, and a monochrome lens. For selfies, it will get a 32MP snapper for selfie lovers. And most importantly, the camera will get optics from ZEISS. As a result, the camera will produce extremely color-accurate photos.

Varient:

There is still no news about the varients but we can assume that NOKIA X50 will launch in 6/8 GB RAM variant and 64/128 GB storage variant. The RAM quality may stick to LPDDR4X or the latest LPDDR5 and the ROM may support UFS 2.1 or higher.

Battery:

NOKIA X50 will get a massive 6000 mAh battery to begin with but the charger is very mediocre that is 22W only which is still low if we compare it with CHINESE brands that provide 125W charger. But NOKIA may even skip the charger for ecological purposes.

Launch Date & Price:

There is absolutely no news about the launch date. But we can assume that NOKIA X50 will launch around JUNE, 2021. And for the price, the phone may start with ₹30,000 for the base variant. As a result, this phone may be the best smartphone in that price range.
