OnePlus Ace Racing Edition
OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition in China. It is a toned-down version of the original Ace and comes at a significantly lower price. But, it is also alleged with the Dimensity 8100 chipset provides seamless performance.

Key Specifications of OnePlus Ace Racing Edition
The racing edition which comes slightly lower is geared up with an LTPS panel which has a 6.59inch Screen size with a 120Hz refresh rate. Another key point is it has a plastic back panel with a similar design to the Ace.
It has a thickness of 8.7mm which is touted with 207 Gram weight. It is further protected by Gorilla Glass and comes with a side button fingerprint & face unlock for security. There’s a dual card slot without any 3.5mm jack in the phone.
Processor & Performance
The Racing Edition is also enabled with the Dimensity 8100-Max chipset. It further pairs with UFS 3.1 storage & LPDDR5 RAM for ultimate performance. The Dimensity 8100 is a 5nm chipset which is powered by 4x Cortex A78 cores @ 2.85GHz and 4x Cortex A55 cores @ 2.0 GHz.
It scores up to 920 points single core with 3800 point Multicore in Geekbench with up to 825K in Antutu Version 9. Since the company has also provided the Liquid cooling technology for better thermal efficiency & X-linear motor for 4D haptics.
Camera & Battery
Especially, the Racing Edition looks very similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G that was launched in China. There’s a triple camera housing on the back in which the primary is a 64MP shooter with an 8MP Ultra wide & 2MP macro sensor. The front hosts a 16MP selfie camera.
Similarly, it could spot a 5000Mah battery which has 67W Super vooc charging. You can expect around 34 Mins to fully charge the battery as claimed by the company. OnePlus Ace Racing Edition boot up the latest Android 12 out-of-the-box which is also tuned by Colors OS 12.2 (in China only).
Eventually, you will get the support for Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth V5.3, NFC, GPS & more options. You will also get Stereo sounds with dual speakers.
OnePlus Ace Racing Edition: Price & Launch Date
OnePlus Ace Racing Edition is currently launched in China with a Grey & Blue colour variant. It carries a price of around the ₹23,039 (¥1,999) for the base variant of 8GB/128GB. It is further followed by 8GB/256GB at ₹25,137 (¥2,199) and the top 12GB/256GB is priced at ₹28,800 (¥ 2,499).
Although, the Chinese price of this device looks very aggressive as compared to the chipset it offers. The Indian price could also start with ₹27,000 for the base which is again a good choice. The main verdict of this phone could be the Poco F4 5G launching next month in India.
