OPPO Reno 8 pro
Oppo Reno series is well known for its camera & Design. The Reno 7 Series launched last year in China was the first one to IMX 709 Sony sensors for selfies. Now, it looks like the company is working on the next iteration of this series.
The Reno 8 Series will feature more models OPPO Reno 8, 8 SE, 8 Pro & 8 Pro+. Oppo Reno 8 pro will the Marisilicon NPU from the Find X series and also sport the Dimensity 8100-Max chipset for performance. Here’s what we all know about this phone currently.
Key Specifications
Since the compass doesn’t provide any official specifications for this phone. But a popular tipster Mukul Sharma (@Stufflistings) has provided some of its specs. He also says that the 8 Pro will be the Indian Pro+ Model.
OPPO Reno 8 pro will feature a 6.7inch Full HD+ panel which will support a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be an OLED panel which has the HDR 10+ certification. The backside will be glass built with metal frames and may get some exclusive design too. It will be 7.34mm thicker and will weigh 183 Grams.
The Reno 8 Pro sports the Dimensity 8100-Max chipset which was earlier available to Oneplus 10R 5G. It is a 5nm chip which provides similar performance to Snapdragon 888 5G chip. One more thing is its Marisilicon X NPU which is oppo exclusive Image Processing Chip which was earlier available to Oppo Find X series only.
While it has a similar camera configuration as of Reno 7 pro. It also features the 32 MP IMX709 Sony RGBW sensor. The backside has a triple camera configuration which has the Primary 50MP sensor while the other sensors are disclosed for now.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro has a 4500Mah battery which supports 80W fast charging. Moreover, it has X-axis linear motor, dual Stereo speakers & NFC. It also gets the Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth V5.2, GPS & dual sim slot.
Reno 8 Pro: Release Date & Price
There will be up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM & 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage configuration will be available. You can also find some cool colour models too likewise in Black, Blue & Grey. The expected price of this phone will be between 35K to 40K in India for the base model.
