Oppo recently launched the Oppo Reno 8 Series in India, which includes the Reno 8 and 8 Pro models. Now, we’ve discovered that another Reno model has been leaked via Geekbench. For India, it could be the Oppo Reno 8Z.
Since Geekbench has confirmed the phone to have Snapdragon 695 processor with Adreno 619 graphics. It confirms that it will be nothing more than a global Reno 7Z model.
@MySmartPrice has also confirmed the device’s model number CPH2457. Many certificate sites, including NBTC, NCC, and Indonesia Telecom, have also reported it. Finally, @Blass also confirms the Reno 8Z with a gloss finish and a rectangular camera cutout.
Oppo Reno 8Z: Specifications
The Oppo Reno 8Z will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with no support for higher refresh rates. The screen will have a side punch hole for the front camera. The back has a gleaming finish with the triple camera housing.
As per leaks, the OPPO Reno 8Z 5G will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. The Reno 8Z comes with a 4,500mAh battery and a 33W rapid charger. There’s also a bottom-mounted speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Moreover, the processor is already confirmed to be Snapdragon 695 which will also pair the LPDDR4X RAM & UFS 2.2 storage. Oppo Reno 8Z will come with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth V5.2, GPS and NFC support as well. The leaked image also shows the device with a fingerprint scanner embedded on the power button.
Price, Colors & Release Date in India
Since OPPO has already released the Reno 8 Lite in China, which has similar specifications to the Reno 7Z and the Oppo F21 Pro model from India. As a result, it could be the company’s fifth rebranding with the same specifications.
Even though the company has not yet decided on a launch date. We believe it will make its debut in India this month. The base variant with a 6GB/128GB configuration is expected to cost ₹19,999. It will also include Gradient blue and other colour options.
