Poco F4 5G
After the launch of the Poco F4 GT in Global regions, the company is now working on the drop-down variant of this phone. There will also be a native Poco F4 5G which can soon launch globally. Since this phone carries the same specs, we have found it on the Redmi K40S.
Redmi K40S was launched in China earlier with its Redmi K50 Series. It includes key specs like Snapdragon 870 5G chip, 120Hz AMOLED panel, 48MP IMX586 sensor & More. Here’s what we know about this phone till now.
Key Specifications of Poco F4 5G
Poco F4 5G carries a 6.67inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It gets HDR10+ certification and offers 1300nits peak brightness. The phone feels very slim i.e. 7.7mm in thickness and weighs 195G. There’s a small punch on the display which is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
For performance, it features the Snapdragon 870 5G chip based on 7nm architecture. It is further coupled with LPDDR5 RAM & UFS 3.1 storage. The company has also provided liquid cooling technology for thermal efficiency. Meanwhile, Poco F4 5G boots the latest Android 12 based on MIUI 13 out-of-the-box.
The backside of the phone host a triple camera setup which consists of the 48MP IMX586 sensor with 8MP Ultra wide & 2MP macro. Meanwhile, the main sensor also offers OIS for steady videos & photos. At the same time, there’s a 20MP selfie camera available inside the punch hole.
For security, it purposes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner & face unlock feature. There’s the support for NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth V5.2 & GPS. Poco F4 5G will also sport the dual Stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm jack but lacks the dedicated card slot.
This phone is yielded with a 4500Mah battery. It isn’t surprising that it supports 67W charging which takes around 40Mins to fully charge the phone.
Expected launch, Price & Colors
This phone was launched in China which prices varying from 21,000 rupees. Poco F4 5G was available in these Black, Gray, Blue, and Green colours. While we have no info on the exact price of this device at global expenses.
We think the Global market may not sustain the cheap price for the phone launch in China. It may cost up to 29K for its base 6GB model while the upper model is 37K. Eventually, this phone may be launched anytime this month globally. Indian launch may happen in June when the Poco F4 GT & Poco F4 5G will announce.
