After launching the Poco M4 Pro Series in India. POCO is now working towards a new phone in the Series. It will be the native POCO M4 5G model in the series. And the rumours also that the device will offer 5G at around ₹12K or 13K price. This budget 5G device will be the successor to Poco M3 and may be launched in April. It has currently launched Global, which revealed its specs. So, let’s look at the device.
Poco M4 5G: Price
The upcoming Poco device will be entirely new in the series and could retain the price of around ₹12000 in India. It will be for its base variant 4GB/64GB. While the upper variant could available at ₹14-15k. Eventually, the device will also be available in colours like Grey, Silver & Atlantic Blue.
Key Specifications
Poco M4 5G will come in India as a rebrand of Redmi 10 5G. It will feature a plastic back with a matte finish. There is a curved bezel with a new design i.e. two rings for the rear camera inside the rectangular housing. Eventually, the phone packs a thickness of 8.9mm with around 200G weight.
Coming on the front, the Poco M4 5G is alleged with a Full HD+ IPS display. It gets the support for a 90Hz refresh rate. It gets a Waterdrop Notch and has around an 87% screen body ratio. Although, it is the same model that was debuted in China earlier featuring the name Redmi Note 11E 5G.
The device packs the dual rear camera setup on the back. The primary camera contains the 50MP sensor alleged with a 2MP depth sensor. on the front, you get a 5MP sensor for selfies & video calls. Meanwhile, the phone gets the 5000Mah battery setup. Although, it will also come with 18W fast charge support which can charge it in almost 1-2Hours.
The POCO M4 5G will be alleged with the Dimensity 700 chip out there. It is 7nm architecture with 5G support although. It also has the support of lightning-fast UFS 2.2 storage. Eventually, it will behave as 64GB & 128GB sized and have an alignment with 4GB/6GB RAM. With this specification, the device may come with Android 12 with MIUI 13 layer on the top.
Network & Connectivity
Although, this device is alleged with the Dimensity 700 5G chip. It offers you dual 5G connectivity, WiFi 5, Bluetooth V5, NFC ( in Europe) & Dual-band GPS. Significantly, POCO M4 5G sports the side-mounted fingerprint & Face unlock feature to get the phone unlocked in seconds.
There is a Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the phone on the front side. While it comes with dual mics, single down the ported speaker, a 3.5mm jack & expandable storage slot too.
Launch & Overview
Although, the Poco M4 5G looks to be an aggressive smartphone if it comes with a 12K price tag. The company Haven’t unveiled the launch date yet but you can be assured it to launch next month.
