Poco has confirmed that their upcoming Poco M5 Series will be available on September 5th in the global and Indian markets. Many design renders and specifications of the company’s phones have been officially leaked.

Poco M5 Series, which will be available on September 5th, will include two models: M5 and M5S. Despite one model, the Poco M5S will not be available in India. These will be 4G models equipped with the Helio G95 and G99 chipsets. Here’s what we know till now.

Leaked Price & Renders

The POCO M5 will be available in Black, Yellow, and Green colour options. The POCO M5s will be available in Black, Blue, and White. Eventually, the Poco M5S device appears to be identical to the Redmi Note 11 SE, which explains why it will not be available in India.

The POCO M5 will be available in 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB configurations, according to the report. The former should cost EUR 189, while the latter should cost EUR 209. The POCO M5S, on the other hand, will be available for EUR 229 and EUR 249 in 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB configurations.

Expected Specifications

Poco M5

The M5 will have a 6.58-inch LDC display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It will also feature the new Helio G99 chip (found on the Infinix Note 12 Pro), LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage.

It may have a fingerprint sensor on the side for security and will most likely run MIUI 13 based on Android 12. Other specifications have yet to be discovered.

Poco M5S

The Poco M5S will be a rebranded Redmi Note 10S or 11 SE. It will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display. It will also be powered by the Helio G95 chipset, which can be upgraded.

Furthermore, the backside will feature a quad camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front-facing camera will be 13 MP.

Other features could include dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a dedicated MicroSD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IP53 rating, a 5,000mAh battery, and support for 33W fast charging.
