Moto G53 launched in China with good specs and features, and this is the cheapest smartphone by Moto which has 5G support. This is also a smartphone which has an HD+ 120Hz display. this might be the first device to have this feature. Although the other Specs are likely decent considering the price. It might be the first time Moto has not shared the SoC info, they only wrote Octa-Core SoC.

• This smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Octa-Core SoC. Brand has not shared the name of SoC, but it might be Snapdragon 480 5G SoC.
• It has a 8MP Front Camera and a 50MP Main + 2MP Macro in the Rear Camera.
• Both Front and Rear Cameras can record up to 1080p at 30fps.

• It has up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, which can be expanded up to 3GB via Virtual RAM option, and it has 128GB of Storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via Micro-SD Card.
• The Moto G53 is packed with a 5000mAh Battery which supports 18W Fast Charging.
• This device comes on MyUI 5.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.
• For security, the device has a Side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face ID.
• The G53 is 8.19mm thick and 183 grams in weight.

The device has a 4GB+128GB variant which costs CNY 899 approximately INR 10,700 and it also has 8GB+128GB variant which costs CNY 1099 approximately INR 13,070.

This smartphone is available in Basalt Black and Sky Blue White Color Options.

Verdict

Both the devices have a good price to performance ratio. The Moto G53 seems to be a downgrade from its predecessor Moto G52. This device will also launch in India in Motorola g series, but might be with different numbers, and the price will be below Rs. 15,000.
