But now there is news that Qualcomm may have finished the design of snapdragon 888 and this SOC is being tested by some Chinese OEM manufacturers. Realease Date & Mobiles To Use It:
There is news that Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Pro is already in the hands of smartphone manufacturers of CHINA, especially XIAOMI, REALME, OPPO, VIVO, etc. So, it seems that the SOC will launch in the next two months that is around JUNE. But recently, there is some leaked information about the upcoming GALAXY UNPACKED event where SAMSUNG is repeatedly hinting about a device that is the most powerful GALAXY DEVICE yet. So, there is also a chance that this SOC may come first in SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FOLD 3.
Architecture & Core Configuration:
Just like the last generation, QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 888 Pro will feature 5nm architecture, and possibly this time the manufacturer will remain the same i.e. SAMSUNG. In terms of core configuration, this new SOC will sport 1 CORTEX X1 core clocked at 3.1 GHz, 3 CORTEX A78 core clocked at nearly 2.6 GHz, and 4 CORTEX A55 core clocked at 1.8 GHz. The only difference from the last generation is the highest clock speed. in SNAPDRAGON 888, it was 2.84 GHz. But this time it will cross the 3 GHz mark.
Display Support:
Here everything will be just like SNAPDRAGON 888 but there will be a major change. Last time, it was 144 Hz maximum display refresh rate. In QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 888 Pro, it will get support for a 165Hz display rate. As a result, gamers will get more smooth gameplay at the time.
Camera & Network:
In terms of camera and network support, QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 888 won’t be different from SNAPDRAGON 888. So, all are the same here just like the last generation.
Graphics:
Because QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 888 Pro is a plus edition of SNAPDRAGON 888, so, besides CPU, the graphics part will get a slight improvement in terms of frequency only. The graphics card speed of this PRO variant will cross the 900 Mhz mark.
Benchmark Score:
Like other plus variants of SOC, this boosted edition of SNAPDRAGON 888 will score well in the ANTUTU benchmark score. According to leaks, this time the ANTUTU score will cross the 9.5 LAKH mark in ANTUTU V9.
