Realme is all set to launch Realme 9i 5G today in India, Along with Realme TechLife Buds T100 and Realme Watch 3 Pro. the company has already revealed the 4G variant of the Realme 9i earlier this year. And now the 5G variant is here.
The Realme 9i 5G will have some competition from the likes of the Poco M4 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11T 5G, Moto G52, etc. Ahead of the official launch here are the quick look, what we know about this smartphone so far.
Realme 9i 5G: Where to Watch Live event.
Realme scheduled the online event to launch Realme 9i 5G and other products in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and UAE on August 18 at 11:30 am Indian standard time (IST). Interested viewers can watch the Realme 9i 5G India launch event on the company’s official YouTube channel and social media platforms.

The previous report reviled the specifications of the device, the handset Sports 6.5-inches of LCD display with Full HD Resolution. The display will support 90Hz of Refresh rate and 180Hz of Touch sampling rate.
The device is powered by MediaTek dimensity 810 Chipset, which is manufactured on 6nm TSMC process and comes paired with ARM Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. There is two storage variants available – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. The smartphone is Also support virtual Ram upto 5GB and storage expansion upto 1TB via micro SD card.
Moving to the optics, device has Tripal Rear camera setup – 50 megapixels of primary camera, a 2 megapixels of Portrait lence and third lens for 4cm Macro shots. On the Front Device has a 8 megapixels lence for selfies and video calls in V-shaped water-drop notch.
The smartphone has a 5000mAh of lithium-ion battery. 18W of Wired charging support. The handset will come with Realme UI 3.0 out of box based on based on Android 12.
On the Right side, the power button is located which is also work as Physical finger-print sensor. Realme 9i 5G will be available in Gold and Black color options. The back of the phone has a shiny finish to it, which Realme likes to call “Laser Light Design” inspired from vintage CD design.

The handset is will launch in multiple storage variants in India – 4GB of Ram with 64GB of storage and 6GB of Ram and 128GB of storage. The pricing is expected to be the Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 16,000 respectively. The official pricing details will be announced at the event on August 18.
Realme has officially confirmed that the 9i 5G will be available for purchase via Flipkart. Realme India online store and retail stores on or before August 25.
