The specifications of Realme Narzo 9i have leaked ahead of launch according to various sources. The new
phone in Realme’s popular smartphone range is going to launch soon in India at a decent price point.
So, we are going to look into the details that we got about Realme Narzo 9i.
Design and Color
Design language of Realme Narzo 9i appears very similar to Realme GT Neo 2. So, it will come in two attractive color options- Prism Black and Prism Grey.
The device has a similar thickness compared to other Realme phones. So, it is 8.7 mm thick. It has a weight of 188 grams.
Display
It is going to have pretty decent display specifications considering the price range. It is
expected to feature a 6.5” FHD+ IPS LCD with 90 Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate.
The display is quite bright because of a 500 nits panel and a screen-to-body ratio of 91%.
Processor
It is almost confirmed that Realme Narzo 9i will feature a Snapdragon 680 processor. So, it is quite capable of doing day-to-day tasks still not very powerful.
Camera
It will have a triple camera setup like many other smartphones. The back camera setup will be 50MP+2MP+2MP and a 16MP front camera. As a result, it can take sharp photos.
Battery
Firstly, the device has a massive 5000 mAh battery. Secondly, it has 18W charging with USB C. Realme Narzo 9i charging options are not groundbreaking but decent.
Storage and Memory options
It is expected to come in two variants which are 4+64GB and 6+128GB. It will have UFS 2.1 storage with LPDDR4X RAM. Storage will be easy to expand because of a 2+1 card slot.
Other features
The device is expected to have Android 11 with Realme UI. It will have a 3.5 mm jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Moreover, it also supports face unlock.
Launch and Price
Realme Narzo 9i is expected to launch in Q1 2022, most probably at the end of January or start of February. The starting price of the smartphone is expected to be Rs. 12000.
Conclusion
Realme Narzo 9i appears to be a decent smartphone if we consider features like camera, battery, and display but the performance would be mediocre because of its Snapdragon 680 processor.
Moreover, Snapdragon 680 provides similar performance to Snapdragon 662 and 665 which are two-year-old processors. In conclusion, we expect a better processor at this price range and Realme’s competition does provide better options. However, we should look forward to its launch.
