Redmi 10A 4G
The Chinese Tech Giant Xiaomi has currently announced the Redmi 10A device in India. This will be the company’s most budget range and will be the successor to the Redmi 9A. Redmi scheduled this phone to launch in India on 20 April in an online-centric event titled as ‘DESH KA SMARTPHONE.
Redmi 10A will capture the design & build of the Redmi 10 2022 edition and will out with some changes too. 10A 4G is already launched in China a month earlier having a price of around 7,500 rupees for its base variant. So, let’s look over some of the key specs with their expected price range.
Redmi 10A key Specs
While the device comes with a similar design to the Redmi 10 on the backside. You will get some curve edges with a rear fingerprint scanner. The front portion holds a 6.53inch HD+ IPS panel which is supposed to receive a 120Hz touch response rate. It weighs around 194G with a thickness of around 9mm.
Accompanied by an IPS display, there is a Mediatek Helio G25 chipset based on 12nm architecture hooked up with the device. Of course, it will feature the emmc 5.1 storage with LPDDR4X RAM. Talking about the battery, the Chinese model was launched with a 5000Mah battery. But Indian model could exclusively get the 6000Mah large battery with a MicroUSB port.
Furthermore, there’s a dual camera on the rear side of the device. It receives the 13MP AI camera & 2MP secondary with a 5MP selfie camera in the V-shaped notch. Moreover, the phone boot up the Android 11 based on MIUI 12.5 out of the box. It may further receive one year of Android & 2 Years of MIUI Upgrades.
Talking about network & connectivity, there will be 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V5, GPS & more option. For security, it gets the rear side fingerprint & Face unlock feature. Meanwhile, Redmi 10A has a single down ported speaker, dual mics, 3.5mm jack & dedicated card slot too.
Redmi 10A price & launch date in India
Redmi 10A could significantly get three colour options: Black, Siver & Blue. Moreover, there will be three Ram & storage variants too: 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB. Which is launched in China at
- 4GB/64GB at RMB 649 (approx Rs 7,740)
- 4Gb/128GB at RMB 799 (approx Rs 9,500)
- 6GB/128GB at RMB 899 (approx Rs 10,720)
While the device could get around 8K price for the base variant while the upper 6GB variant could get the price of 11K.
