Redmi K50 Series
Earlier a month, the Smartphone Brand Redmi has launched the Redmi K50 Gaming edition in the Chinese Regions. While the other models of the series remain unveiled. Although, yesterday the company teased the images leaking the Redmi K50 Series will on 17th March in China. It will bring the Redmi K50, Redmi 50 Pro & K50 Pro+ edition. So let’s see it’s some of the upcoming specs.
Redmi K50 Series: Specs
All the models of the series will come with a super AMOLED Full HD+ panel. You will get a 6.67-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Although, you will get support for HDR10+ content & up to 480Hz touch sample rate. There will be a tiny selfie punch hole with a 91% screen body ratio.
While the back panel considerably has a Glass material with a dual square box module having cameras & a branding name. Eventually, you will get slightly curved edges with a side-mounted Fingerprint.
Camera & processor
Eventually, all the models in the series will sport a triple camera setup on the rear side. Accompanied by 108MP primary sensor, the other sensor can include 8MP Ultra-Wide & 5MP macro sensor. You will also get the OIS support limited to the Redmi K50 Pro+ variant. On the front, all models have a 20MP selfie camera.
As the Redmi K50 e-sport version had already alleged with Snapdragon Gen 1 chip. These models will constitute the Dimensity 9000, Dimensity 8100 & SD 870 chipset. All are 5G ready while the Dimensity 9000 uses 4nm architecture & uses Cortex X1 cores. Followed by Dimensity 8100 using Cortex-A78 cores with 5nm architecture Then the SD 870 chipset has 7nm architecture with Cortex-A77 cores.
All the models will get LPDDR5 RAM & UFS 3.1 storage. Eventually, the models are featured with Vaccum cooling technology for better heat dissipation. You will get WiFi 6, Bluetooth V5.2, NFC, GPS, IR blaster in these phones.
Battery & Others
Although, we won’t have any specifications regarding the Battery capacity. While you will get the 67W charging on K50 & Pro model. While the Pro+ model will substitute the 120W Hypercharge support. None of the phones supports wireless charging but has reversible charging & split charging support.
The Redmi K50 Series will debut with the latest MIUI 13 based on Android 12 in China. It may feature a side fingerprint & face lock for security. For protection, there are the Gorilla Glass 5 & IP53 ratings too on the device.
Colors & Variants
Although the device will be available in three colours: Shadow, Silver, and Ice Slash. While the native Redmi K50 starts with 6GB/128 and goes to the 8GB/256GB variant. It could be priced around 28K for the base model.
The other models in the Redmi K50 Series have the base variants of 8GB/128GB followed by 8GB/256GB & 12GB/256GB. While the K50 Pro+ model has a 12GB/512GB variant too. The Pro variant could start from 33K while the Pro+ variant has the ₹38-39K price for the base model.
While we only know that these phones will go live on March 17. We won’t have news about its exact pricing in India. It can come to India & Global Markets as a Rebrand Poco F4 Series after this month.
