Redmi Note 12 Series listed on TENAA: Key Specs Revealed & More

It was not even a month ago that the Chinese Smartphone manufacturer MI unveiled its Redmi Note 11 Series in India. These series consist of the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11S, Redmi Note 11 Pro which is 4G and another Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. While the series is different from the Chinese Note 11 Series which was launched in October 2021.

Now, we start getting leaks for the upcoming Redmi Note 12 Series too. The two models of the series Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro have been listed on TENAA certification sites too. Either the company could launch this series as same in India too or maybe with some other name.

Rumoured Specs

The Redmi Note 12 Series is said to take some big changes in terms of performance and camera. The rumours that the upcoming Note Series can use the chipset from Mediatek rather than Qualcomm. Redmi Can also bring the Dimensity 8000 or 1300 series chip to its pro variant too.

The TENAA certification revealed its display & battery size specification only. It is said that Redmi Note 12 and Note 12 Pro will bring up the 6.6inch panel. As the company has done for the last two series, the Note 12 Series will also catch the AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The native Note 12 also claims to have the 4980Mah (min) sized battery equivalent to 5000Mah. While the Pro variant takes up the 4300Mah battery cell. The decrease in battery also shows that the company might bring some powerful charging technology to the Pro variant so far.

Other Key specs revealed are its model no which is 22041216UC and 22041216C. Meanwhile, you will also get that the Note 12 Series will have 8.8mm thickness most probably as per TENAA certification. Both phones will be 5G out of the box.

Redmi Note 12 Series: Release & Launch Date

Although, the devices are currently showcased with only two models on the Chinese Certification site. You can expect these models to be launched in the last week of May or the first of June in China. India’s launch varies within a month after the phones get launched in China.
