Samsung A-series
There was a great unpacked event done by Samsung on 17 March. The company introduced various smartphones in its A-Series. Eventually, You will get Samsung A73 5G, Samsung A53 5G & Samsung A33 5G unpacked in the event. Also, there is the launch of the All-new Onyx Color variant of Galaxy Buds 2 & 2 Lite launched by the company.
Specifications:
Samsung targets its A-series phones focused for next level cameras & Displays. The Galaxy A53 5G & A33 5G phone is very much slimmer with only 8.1mm thickness. Meanwhile, it has only 186G weight. The lower version A33 5G have a 6.4inch Infinity-U panel & A53 5G have a 6.5inch Infinity-O panel.
On the front, the Samsung A33 5G has a 90Hz super Amoled Panel while the bigger brother has a 120Hz refresh rate. Eventually, you will get HDR support with a Full HD+ resolution.
Battery & Processor
Both devices have alleged with a 5000Mah battery cell. It comes with 25W fast charging support. But the thing is you have to buy the charger separately. The box comes with a type C cable only.
About the processor, the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G & Galaxy A53 5G have alleged with the latest Samsung Exynos 1280 chip. While the core type is still unknown but it has 2.4GHz cores for performance & 2GHz for efficiency. Also, it is a 5nm based 5G chip, so the battery backup will be up to the notch. Eventually, the company uses the UFS storage with LPDD4X RAM.
Camera, UI & Others
This A-series smartphones have killer cameras in its segments. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G cameras have a 64MP primary OIS sensor. Meanwhile, the other sensors present in the phone are 12MP ultra-wide with 5MP depth & 5MP macro. Significantly, the A33 5G has a 48MP OIS sensor. This is also paired with an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth & 5MP macro sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A33 5G includes only a 13MP sensor while the upper model goes up to 32MP resolution for selfies.
Meanwhile, Samsung hooked up the New A-series UI from its most premium Galaxy S22 Series. These various phones will also get One UI 4.1( Android 12) with up to 4years of Software upgrades promises.
The Samsung A33 5G & A53 5G will get In-display Fingerprint, NFC support, Wi-Fi 5 & Bluetooth V5.1. while it lacks the 3.5mm headphone jack but has a dedicated card slot. For protection, you will get IP 67( 30mins beside 1.5m freshwater) resistance & Gorilla Glass on both sides.
Variants & Launch
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G & Galaxy A53 5G, both have white, Black, Orange, & Blue colour options. These phones start from the 6GB/128GB variant & go up to the 8GB/256GB variant. While the Galaxy A33 5G has priced around €370 (₹31,110). While the Galaxy A53 5G is priced at €450 (₹37,834) 6GB/128GB while the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at €510 (₹42,869).
Although, the company hasn’t announced these phones actual prices in India. But we can expect similar prices. Eventually, the pre-orders from April 01 for Samsung Galaxy A53 5G.
