Samsung Galaxy A14 5G may launch soon after being listed on BIS.

Samsung may soon release its new Galaxy A-series smartphones. In the upcoming weeks, the plan is to introduce the Samsung Galaxy A14. The Galaxy A14 series’ precise debut date is unknown, although the most recent update points to an impending launch. On the website of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has been discovered. One of the two products in the A14 series slated to debut is the gadget. 

The phone will soon go on sale in India and other countries. Here’s a quick rundown of all the information we currently know about the Galaxy A14 5G before Samsung reveals the specifics of its debut.

The company will release a new entry-level 5G smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy A14. Prior to its release, it is listed on the BIS website. The gadget is identified by the model SM-A146B/DS. The Galaxy A14 5G is not described in any detail in the BIS listing. The database listing does, however, suggest that the Galaxy 5G phone will be released soon.

Recently, the gadget was also discovered on the Wi-Fi Alliance website. It disclosed that both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi will be supported by the Galaxy A14 5G. Additionally, the phone will come pre-installed with Android 13. On top of Android, it will have a layer of One UI 5.0. 

The forthcoming Samsung 5G phone will have a flat frame and a triple-camera arrangement on the back, according to the renders. The phone has three circular rings that serve as cutouts for the camera sensors but does not really have a camera module. Next to the sensors is an LED flash as well.

Samsung will refer the water-drop notch on the front as an Infinity-U display. Except for the chin, the display is surrounded by bezels that are relatively narrow. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well. The low-cost smartphone sports a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. At the bottom, there is a speaker grill as well. 

The phone’s display, camera, and processing characteristics, among other information, are currently unknown. More information will be released as it becomes available.
