On the 20th of August, 2022 TAGG launched its latest offering in the Smartwatch segment, the TAGG Verve Maxx Buzz. It is a very feature-rich smartwatch and along with that, it comes at a very aggressive price point. It is available on Flipkart for consumers. Let’s see how it performs against the latest offering from other rivals within the same price segment.

The dial is made up of Zinc alloy and is rectangular in shape with curved corners.
It has a width of about 38.1mm, and a height of about 45.5mm which is a bit high as compared to others.
It weighs about 45 grams which is a bit high but you won’t feel it under day-to-day usage. It is fairly light in weight smartwatch and you won’t feel any pain in your wrist.
The strap buckle is made up of Silicone material which is considerable at this price point.
It comes in five different solid colour variants, which are Black, Blue, Grey, Gold and Beige (which has a sort of Rose Pink finish).

It gets a 1.81 – inch hi-resolution, HD, Full touch IPS TFT, 2D curved display with a resolution of about 320 X 386 pixels which looks crisp and clear at any viewing angle.
It has about 203 pixels per inch, as a result, there the pixels are not visible with your naked eyes.
It features a very bright display and has about 500 nits of peak brightness which will be vibrant enough even when you are in harsh sunlight.
The screen has a better real estate with very minimal bezels as a result you will enjoy it to the fullest while using the device.

It has a Lithium Polymer battery pack whose capacity was not revealed.
TAGG claims that it can give a battery backup of 3 days with calling and 7 days with normal usage. They also claim that it has about 72 hours of Talktime, but these are just claims and the real battery performance is yet to be tested.
TAGG claims that it will take about 120 minutes to get fully charged with the provided charger in the box.

It has an in-built speaker and microphone, which you can use during Bluetooth calling and to trigger Siri or Google Voice Assistant.

It comes equipped with a Pedometer which is used to measure the distance travelled by foot, a Heart Rate Monitoring sensor, SpO2 (Blood Oxygen Monitor), Sleep Monitoring System which tracks your sleep quality, Sedentary reminders, Breathe monitor etc. It also comes equipped with a Menstrual Cycle Counter.
It contains 120+ Sport Modes and along with that comes an Accelerometer, Barometer etc.
It has smart reminders such as Drink Water Reminder, Medicine Reminder and relax mode etc.

It is IP67 Water Resistant to a claimed depth of 10m, so it can handle your sweat and a little splash of water with ease. But don’t expect it to be waterproof, and in our opinion going to swim with this smartwatch will be catastrophic.
It has 150+ different watch faces, which will suit a wide range of people.
It has Bluetooth version 5.0 which ensures superior connectivity with your smartphone even when you are at a distance.
It has a presence of Bluetooth calling feature with a phonebook, dial pad and caller ID.
You can reject and accept calls as well as mute and make calls directly from your smartwatch.
You can remotely control your camera using this smartwatch during group photos.
It displays the date and time and also has the presence of an alarm clock.
It has 128MB of RAM, which ensures the smooth functioning of the device.
It has a smart QR code system, by which you can easily receive payments.
The notification of vibration comes with an intensity adjuster for ease of usage according to comfort.
It has gesture control like Raise to wake, Put down to shut down screen, etc.
It can also be protected from unwanted access using the Password feature.
