Vivo S15 Series Launched in China with Amazing Specifications

Finally Vivo has launched its S15 and S15 Pro in Chinese market. As usual the brand is known globally for its manufacturing of smartphones ranging from budget to flagship level. Reportedly Vivo launched its two flagship level smartphones in S-series namely Vivo S15 and S15 Pro in Chinese market on 19th May 2022. So let’s have a look on the new devices.

Vivo S15 Series Specifications

Designs & Display

The front of S15 series features a 60° curved display with rounded corners and both the models i.e., Vivo S15 and Vivo S15 Pro house a centre aligned punch hole cutout for selfie camera. Similarly the rear houses a large triple camera setup on both the base and pro variant.
The base S15 model sports a 6.62 inch E4 AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution. Talking about the higher model, the Vivo S15 Pro variant features a smaller 6.56-inch E5 AMOLED display that also has a Full HD+ resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with HDR10+ support and 1000Hz touch sampling rate and a dedicated independent display chip as well.

Specifications & Camera

The Vivo S15 is available with a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, while the S15 Pro features a Media Tek Dimensity 8100 processor. Both the base and pro variants are launched with a RAM + ROM like 8GB + 128GB , 8GB+ 256GB and 12GB + 256GB.
The S15 series will run on Android-12 based OriginOS Ocean out of the box. On the rear, the base version features a triple camera setup that includes a 64 megapixel primary sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it sports a 32 megapixel selfie camera. The Pro variant also features three cameras on the rear, but with a 50 megapixel primary sensor, a 13 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel B&W sensor. The front packs a 32 megapixel selfie shooter.

The Vivo S15 is available in multiple color options and storage variants as well. The base model comes in the Midsummer Blue, Light Gold, and Black color options, while the S15 Pro variant only arrives in Midsummer Blue and Black variants. Looking for the price we find that:
