Vivo has delighted selfie lovers with its V series for a few years now, and more devices are lined up for buyers this year as well. Now, we are looking at the V25 series which gets an ‘e’-version named VIVO V25e. Vivo launched this device internationally on the 17th of August 2022 and all we wait for is its availability in the Indian markets. This new device is all set to step foot in the Indian markets. We speculate that it might come somewhere in between the month of September.
VIVO V25e – Design and colour
VIVO V25e may follow more of a boxier design language; the edges may be smoothened out and will feel smooth to tough without sharp edges. It has a glass back and the frame will be made out of alloy, overall it is basically a sandwich design. It may come in two different colour variants, the Diamond Flare and the Roman Black; both of them come with a matte or frosted finish. It may weigh about 171 grams and the dimensions are as follows 161.2 mm (height) x 74.4 mm (width) x 7.40 mm (thickness). Overall it will be a very stylish and beautiful Smartphone.
VIVO V25e – Display
VIVO V25e comes with a 6.44-inch, AMOLED display with 409 Pixels per Inch and a 20:9 aspect ratio, as a result, it will provide you with immersive viewing angles. It is an AMOLED display which ensures vibrant colours and hence consuming content will be a treat for your eyes. It has a resolution of about (2400×1080 pixels). It has a screen-to-body ratio of about 84% and the display has a water drop notch at the top.
VIVO V25e – Processor
It will be power packed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G ( 8nm ) processor, which is an Octa-core processor based on 8nm architecture. It is backed by the Qualcomm Adreno 618 GPU. It will be able to handle your day-to-day task with ease and will be capable of handling light to medium gaming sessions with ease. It will not show any kind of lag under moderate usage and while being very powerful it is also very power efficient, which will ensure good battery life.
VIVO V25e – Camera
It will have a dual rear camera setup with the main sensor of 60megapixel (f/1.9, wide) as a result it can take high-quality images with ease and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens (f/2.2). It can record up to 1080p at 30fps. It has digital zoom, face detection, touch-to-focus and a good LED flash.
The front camera will get a 44-megapixel (f/2.0 wide) sensor, which can record up to 1080p at 30fps. It has an outstanding low-light performance and can provide you with hassle-free video calls.
Both the rear and front cameras produce good colours and natural skin tone. The front camera produces very good images at extreme low night.
VIVO V25e – Battery
VIVO V25e will be getting a 4500mah Lithium Polymer battery pack as a result it will easily last you a full day, and along with that comes a 33W fast charger which will give you 100% charge within 50 minutes, but these are just the claims and the real performance is yet to be tested. It has a very efficient processor as a result it can retain the juice for a day-long under moderate to heavy usage.
VIVO V25e – Speakers
VIVO V25e will not get a dual stereo speaker and will get a single speaker it will provide adequate loudness and sound clarity. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
VIVO V25e – Other Features
VIVO V25e will get dual microphones. It will include all the necessary sensors. It does not have any kind of IP water and dust-resistant rating.
VIVO V25e – Variants
It is offered in a single variant-
- 8GB RAM paired with 128 GB of storage.
The storage can be expanded to 512GB. In our opinion, a higher variant would have been highly appreciated by power users.
VIVO V25e – Security and Connectivity
As per security is concerned it will have an under-display fingerprint sensor which will be of optical type. It will be very fast in response and will provide adequate security to your device.
It will not have 5G support but may have NFC support. It will include Bluetooth version 5.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e (2.4GHz/ 5GHz)
It will have a dual sim card slot which means you can only run 2 nano sim cards.
It will also have the latest Android 12 out of the box with all its bells and whistles. It will also get a definite OS update to Android 13 and occasional security updates.
VIVO V25e – Launch and Price
VIVO announced VIVO V25e on the 17th of August 2022 in the Chinese as well as the international markets but is no news about its availability in the Indian markets. We speculate that it might step into the Indian markets soon.
It may have a price tag of about ( 25000 ) INR.
