The new Vivo phone approved by China’s 3C authority with a model number of V2170A, according to a China-based tipster, will be debuting with the Vivo X Note name in the home market. As an additional note, he also mentioned the specific features of the device.
The tipster says that the V2170A is formerly expected to be the NEX 5 but will launch as the Vivo X Note. Its 3C certification reveals that the device may ship with an 80W charger. The handset has also been granted TENAA certification, but the details haven’t been made available yet.

The Vivo X Note will come with a Quad HD+ 7-inch Samsung AMOLED E5 display, with slightly curved edges and a centered punch-hole. According to tipster @Bald is Panda, the device measures 168 x 76 x 9.2mm and weighs 221 grams.

The smartphone has a single camera setup with a 50+48+12+8 MP primary sensor on the back and a 32 MP selfie shooter on the front. The Vivo X Note comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and an Adreno 730 GPU. This phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have microSD card support, so the storage is limited to 256G. And the phone runs on Android v12.

The X Note will have a 5,000mAh battery that can recharge the phone at a speed of 80W. With Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, it will be a high-end flagship phone. Once it receives important certifications, the X Note may debut as early as March. Speculation holds that Vivo’s foldable phone will also debut in the same month.
