The company Mi has launched its Xiaomi11i series this week. There are two smartphones in this series: Xiaomi 11i and 11i hypercharge. We will their competition between 11i and its predecessor, Mi 10iunder the hood.

Xiaomi 11i vs Mi 10i: Display

Although the Xiaomi11i series has many improvements in the display section. It gets an E2 AMOLED display instead of an IPS LCD at Mi 10i. On the other hand, both devices sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ HDR10 display with a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. Eventually, due to the AMOLED display on 11i, it gets up to 1200nits peak brightness compared to 450nits on Mi 10i.
So, there’s no doubt that Xiaomi 11i is the clear winner here.

Xiaomi 11i vs Mi 10i: Design & Build

With a similar size display on both phones, the Mi 10i feels heavy (214g) than the 11i (204g) launched recently. Eventually, the Mi 10i is 9mm thick while Xiaomi 11i managed to get 8.3mm of thickness. Additionally, both devices have similar punch holes & glass back with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides.
So, we can say Xiaomi 11i is slimmer & light and emerged as the winner here.

Processor, RAM & Storage

In this section, Both devices have different processors: Mediatek 920 5G on Xiaomi 11i and SD750G 5G in 10i. When going at deep, Mediatek 920 is more powerful& battery efficient and uses a newer generation of CPU( A78 vs A77), and additionally, it is based on 6nm than of 8nm( SD 750G).
Both devices have LPDDR4X RAM with UFS2.2 Storage support. however, 11i has a 3200MHz frequency on Ram compared to 2133MHz on 10i. Furthermore, both device features a hybrid slot to expand your Storage.

Camera, Audio & UI

Mi 10i features a quad-cam setup on the back while 11i has a triple rear setup. Both phones feature a 108MP main camera, however, 11i has a newer generation of 108MP and can take better pictures and it has dual-pixel PDAF additionally.
On the other hand, there’s an 8MP wide-angle and 2MP macro on both devices. moreover, 10i has a 2MP depth sensor additionally. Eventually, both device offers a 16MP selfie sensor at the front.
Moreover, the devices comprise stereo speakers altogether with Dolby Atmos under the hood.

11i has been launched recently and features MIUI 12.5E with Android 11 out of the box. Consequently, the 10i is also running on MIUI12.5E with Android 11, but it gets it through the OTA.
In this section, we can say Xiaomi 11i wins with better sensors, Newer UI.

This comparison is quite interesting because Xiaomi 11i comes with 67W charging with a 5160Mah big battery. while Mi 10i has a 4820Mah battery with 33W charging.

Colors & other features

Although, the 11i has four color options: Camo Green, Stealth Black, Purple Mist, Pacific Pearl. While, Mi 10i comes in only three Colors: Pacific Sunrise, Midnight Black, Atlantic Blue.
Although, both devices have side-mounted fingerprint, infrared port, 3.5mm jack, WiFi 6, GPS & Bluetooth support. However, 11i has IP53 ratings while 10i has no such ratings.
In this section too, Xiaomi 11i wins with some margins.

Xiaomi 11i vs Mi 10i: Variants & Conclusion

Both of the devices have 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB. However,11i offers an additional 8GB/256GB variant too.
Yes, of course, the Xiaomi11i is better by all means. However, the 11i is ₹3000 costlier than the 10i (24,999vs 21,999). So, if you can expand extra cost then you should choose the Xiaomi 11i. However, Mi 10i is also a very good phone at the price it comes
